i was there last weekend and refused to go in....

i hate trends...and now i'm a freakin croc owning girl....

next up: uggs....

what have i become?

i luv my uggs...i have 5 pair in diff colors, & get new sand ones every year.

some people dont wear socks with them but i always do, i just have a peeve about not wearing socks.

i order them from online nordstrom.

that is exactly what i said. i used to call them 'UGG-lies' and everything. then one year, i got a pair and 2 years later i still wear them. they are great for the winter and i can vouch that i sometimes do not wear socks with them and they do not smell! the reason being, however they are made keeps your feet at a certain temperature all the time. in the cold, it keeps warm, in the warmth, it keeps cool. there was a book the uggs came with that described it all. i wear them in the rain and everything and love them. the only thing i would not do is tuck my pants into them.

uggs arent a trend, they have been around for a while, hollywood just became hip 2 them which made them popular & seem trendy, & now they have moved on.

i personally dont care that people now diss them, i luv em & will continue 2 buy them every year.

i dont wear mine in the snow, just rain...they get wet & go right back 2 normal when they dry.

i HATE uggs and thought they were disgusting

FH bought me a pair and I CRIED bc I was all dramatic and like 'you dont even know me'

then i put them on and SO COMFORTABLE! like walking in slippers all day long! I only wear them in the winter and under my jeans ( i have the minis ) and I want another pair for christmas.

so that is my story

i hate crocs but i wont say that too loudly in case i become the spokesperson next year

i am so going to end up getting them....

i have subungual exostotis...basically means that my big toe bone is continuing to grown....and in turn, pushing the nerve under my toenail....i get shooting pains....sooooo we're in modell's one day and i try them on....i turned and stared at my FH and almost cried...they were soooooooo comfortable....so yeah, I bought them....in celery....so now i look like a dinosaur w/ green plastic shoes....but my feet have never felt better....

i have to take care of my toe so i can live through my wedding day in heels....

i have to take care of my toe so i can live through my wedding day in heels....

honestly, the only reason i havent tried Crocs is bc i sweat profusely and i cant imagine wearing shoes without socks. . .how is that?

and i am supposed to only be wearing flats since something is wrong with my hip but i dont listen

i forgot today i am going to the doctor and i am wearing heels and i am going to get yelled at BUT none of my work pants are hemmed for flats!

hmm do you REALLY not sweat. . .or just sweat less? like i have those skechers that are kind of open and everyone was like WOW your feet don't sweat. . .and i have little tsunamis coming out of my shoes with every step in them . . .

awww....crocs are totally breathable...i have sweaty feet and i really don't sweat in them...i wore them all summer too...

Here's my true story:

When they came out I DESPISED them and giggled when I saw the HS girls wearing them. I refused to even try them on because I was SO anit-Uggs.

Last year I started to realize that my feet would kill half way through the day with winter boots on...so, I tried them on and was instantly in love! Once on, with jeans over the top part, they don't look so bad. I have never been so comfortable in shoes before and can't wait until I'm done paying for the wedding and house renovations...I'm investing in the different colors I've wanted now for a year and a half!

Moral of the story:
Go for it! One pair will have you hooked...not sure if the knock-offs are as comfy or warm though.

i have hated them for years but w/ my bum toe and your comments....

i've made a deal...lose 10 lbs more and i can have them....

my uggs have taken me threw EVERY SNOW storm for the past 3 years....actually they are not 'chocolate brown' anymore they are more like 'snow white'

i say get them!!! they are the best
