Ugh! I just need a drink. Does anyone have a martini or something?

This might increase voter turnout -- a drink with every vote LOL

LOL! heck, I'd vote again!

UH, Irene -- I think this is what they are trying to prevent -- lots of places seem to have mysterious pretapped votes!

Well, I voted for Hoawrd Stern, so I don't think you have to worry.

Actually I didn't vote yet and am not sure I am gonna.

Re: NWR - VOTE tomorrow!

I have to admit, I'm not a fan of this widespread 'just vote ' campaign. While I'm not saying one candidate is more right on issues than the other, just blindly voting without knowing exactly where the candidate stands is just as dangerous. The media (all branches of it, almost without exception) paints the picture THEY want of each candidate. Take a few minutes, go to each candidates' website and look at where they stand on the issues you find most important. A presidential election is too important to just 'vote party lines.'

Thanks for letting ME vent this time! (and I promise, I'll try to not let it happen again)

I hear you. What erks me is people who do not vote for congressmen and women or Senators or judges. I vote every single election and I know at least a little something about each candidate. People complain about the presidential candidates but if you vote all along, you have some say. Kerry has been in the Senate 20 yrs and Bush was governor of Texas. If ppl cared enough, they could have been voted out of public office years ago.

Even though I am very opinionated politically, more than anything, I wish ppl could see how important voting is, why it matters, what a wonderful right it is, and how hard ppl fought to get this right.

OK OK..enough already! Jeez! I'm sorry but I just can't take it anymore. It's every you go. We know what to do. Leave us alone.

EDIT: Sorry, I don't mean to be mean, but I am just sick of the election being forced down everyone's throat is all.

I am not trying to turn this into an arguement but I also feel that it is important to reiterate it to people. It is wonderful that you feel that you 'know what to do' but if this post helped to force one more person to the polls to excerise their right to vote, than it helped.

Also, this thread is called 'NWR - VOTE tomorrow'...you knew what it was going to be about when you entered it so how can you say that it is being forced down your throat? Why did you even bother to read and post if you know what to do?

Polls are open until 9 p.m. in New York state. If you're on line to vote at 9 p.m., you must be allowed to vote.

Hmm. I'm not sure what you want. Do you want us to vote? No, that can't be it.

There are lots of other countries where you don't have to be bothered to vote, please pick one of them and go there! You've managed to pick vendors for your wedding, choosing the president won't kill ya! I promise! Well, it might..depending on which you choose. That's a whole 'nother thread.
