Thank you! I am still on teh weight loss journey. I have about 10-15 more to go + toning! This is the hardest though....those last 10-15 take FOREVER to come off!

Don't worry...you came this far...I know you can do it. You look great!!

Oh yes...it is so much better when you do it together!!!! But seriously it is!!! Even when you go out to eat...if he orders something healthy with you...you won't be tempted by any bad foods.

I agree. having the right support will help you reach your goal quicker...and when one of us is cheating and eating unhealthy, we call each other out on it...then laugh about it, then pick up where we left off eating healthy.

Re: NWR: Weight Loss

This thread is a great motivation to me. a bunch of you girls have been encouraging me a long the way, especially Denise. I have been trying really hard, and still have a ways to go, but it helps a lot knowing that so many of you have succeeded. I have a goal of 60lbs to loose before the wedding. I have no slacking time....I need to get my butt going and get this weight off. I've been eating very well, I just can't get myself to excersize. I wake up at 5am as is and only get home at 7:30pm have to make dinner, and lunches for the next day, then I am so exhausted. I can't see myself reading a book let alone working out! I have made myself a promise to at least work out ont he weekends. Baby steps I guess

Truelove - you can do it! Trust me...I leave my house at 5:45 am and get home at 6:45 pm. I force myself to exercise for at least 30 minutes....then I always end of working out for like 45 or more because it feels soo good....

If you need any encouregment or support, FM me!

you know what how about starting off doing crunches before bed...bc if you do 50-100 a night, depending whichever you feel comfortable with, or you know what you dont even need to count, just do it until you can anymore and thats it...doing 50 crunches takes so little time, even 100 does, think about it, its just a few mins.

I used to do this when i didnt have alot of time, doing a few mins of crunches, throw in a few mins of weights for my arms, do side bends for hips a few mins...also try exercise on demand, its the greatest channel, it has a bunch of exercise shows and its like regular hbo on demand and all that, whenever you wanna see it just play it.

Denise this is sooo true!!!!
Jessica I know how you feel...I work 2 jobs so some days I am out of the house by 7:45 am come home for 2 hours...and then leave for 2nd job by 5:30 and don't get home till 10. So the days that I do work both jobs I do not get to go on the treadmill. But I always no matter how tired I am always do 100 crunches before I get into bed. And like Denise said it only takes a few minutes.
There are also other rthings you could do maybe at work. I'm not sure where you work...but in the school I work in there are 3 floors...I almost always take the stairs instead of the elevator. Maybe you can walk to a local store instead of taking the car.
Be positive I know you can do it. Where there is a will there is a way!!!

its the best way though...after not exercising for a while your body is weak, so if you try to do too much at once and exhaust yourself it will discourage you.

Get your body back into shape slowly, its the safe thing to do, you dont wanna throw your body off too much. Infact when you first start doing any exercise after a long period of time after doing none, the pounds come off quickly. Get your resistance up and then you will have more energy and will have energy to exercise.

Dont even think about it either, dont say oh should i exercise? just get up and do it, set a time and say ok at this time i will exercise, once its that time just do it...the good thing with crunches and weights for your arms, side bends and all that you can watch tv as you do it, so you can do it during a show you always watch or something.

Here are a few helpful hints...I did alot of research on foods and different effects it has on your body.

Oranges are a GREAT snack, they are filling and will hold you over until your next meal...so its good in between lunch and dinner.

Having a few pieces of cheese as a late night snack is good too.

the rule for meat is this, chicken no bigger than the size of your hand, and steak just the palm part, no fingers, got that lol.

Salmon is great for you, for diet, skin, hair and health.

What i would do that helped is use lemons, pepper, onions and green peppers...Alot of food is very bland, and especially steamed vegetables...I would squeeze a lemon over them, add pepper. for chicken i would cook it with lemon juice, pepper, red onions and green peppers and it was sooo good.

For tuna, since mayo is bad, i would put celery or green onions and mix it with mustard, it wasnt bad at all, oh and lemon juice too.

if you get in the mood for pasta buy whole wheat pasta and i would buy organic penne ala vodka sauce or regular marina sauce...organic is more expensive but if you get just sauce here and there its not bad.

Peanuts are a good snack, handful of popcorn, a couple of pretzels.

beans of any kind are great to add to your diet everyday.

Theres a bunch more i will send it to you later

you girls all look amazing. This is such great motivation! i can't wait to reach my goal and post my before and after pics.

I've always been a little chubby but the worst was when i got on the pill (because my period was normal). after being on the pill for two years, i gained about 35 pounds. now i want to lose about 45 pounds. hopefully before my wedding.

wish me luck girls and thanks again for the motivation. I'm gonna start doing the crunches..sounds like just what i need for a boost.

same here, that depo provera messed me up, its not even on the market as bc anymore they use it for sex offenders to control their urges

GOOD LUCK and you definitely can do it, you just have to get to that point where you say enough is enough, i am tired of this...Just start a little at a time and gradually increase your workout.
