NWR: What kind of B/C are you on?

i'm so sick of BC pills! I cant seem to find one that works right for me.
I've been on: orthotricyclen; orthocyclen; lo-ovral and now recently Yaz.
I'm going to my doctor tomorrow to get off Yaz bcuz although I did like the size B to a C effect it had on me, I can not deal with ALL THE MIGRAINES i've been getting.
I know they affect everyone differently but wat B/C has worked for you?

I get horrible horrible migraines which seem to get worse when I am PMS. I switched to Seasonale and I love it.

I've been on Ortho Tri Cyclen for about 7 years and I love it.....

Me too! I love this pill, very LIGHT periods.

i'm on low ogestrel. eh, its ok. i have switched so many times over the past year because i am always spotting and the only thing to really help that is up the hormones which i dont wanna do. i hate the pill, it makes me feel gross.

I agree..... I'm on the Ortho-Tri Cyclen LO as well and love it!!! I tried the regular ortho tri-cyclen, 3 month shot, and Yaz.... YAZ was the worst for me!!! I became an emotional wreck!!!

I'm also on Ortho-tri cyclen lo and no major problems. I do get headaches but I dont think it's related to the birth control.

I was taking ortho tricycline lo for a long time but I just stopped. I'm sick of it too.

For the first 1 1/2 years that I was taking ortho tricycline lo I was getting migranes for like 3 or 4 straight days during my period. It was awful. It went away but I just decided like a month ago to go off of BC. I just hate taking anything anymore because they all has side effects that mess around with your body.

I'm on Loestrin 24 Fe and while I've heard others girls have had problems with it, I love it!

started Loestrin Fe about 2 mos ago. so far its ok, the breakthrough spotting is much to be desired but i must say my period was much shorter, not as heavy and the cramps were so much less (thank GOD!)

Anyone recommend any others similar to this one that may not cause as much spotting?

I am currently on YAZ and I really like it. I am sure if I would not take anything at all, I might feel better but oh well. I have also switched a lot and I had bad experiences with the Nuvaring, which sounds like an awesome idea. I had yeast infections and UTI's every month after finishing it and I never ever had them before.
I also heard crazy things about weight gain on the Shot.
Honestly I am just counting down until my wedding, bc after that I will completely stop taking BC. I don't wan to get preggers before..lol. I am so over it and we want to TTC after 1/2 year, so I want to get it out of my system once and for all. After the baby, I am planning to get and IUD, which is only really recommended after you give birth. A lot of my friends are on it and love it....cannot wait....

i had the depo shot once after i had my daughter it was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!
between the all the hormones omggggg i was misserable
after that i haven't been on anthing sice
my docs don't want me on them because of everything else thats wrong with me

I use Ocella, which is generic for Yasmin.

I'm on Sprintec with is generic for Ortho Cyclen Lo

I was on Ortho TriCylen for about two months and had to go off of it due to the major mood swings that were unbearable..

I like Sprintec. Been on it for at least a year..no issues.
