NWR - Why do people ALWAYS die at Christmas

My dad just called and my grandma's husband (dad's mom) died this morning. They found out around 1:00 a.m. He had a rare form of incurable cancer that his mom, aunt and other family members also had.

My grandpa (mom's side) died just before Christmas in 1995.

I'm so sorry to hear that! I know what you mean though - my grandmother went into a coma last Christmas day and later passed away close to midnight on New Years Eve... My thoughts are with you!

I'm so sorry for your loss... My grandma died on Chrismas eve four years ago.

I am so sorry for your loss, you and your family are in my prayers My FI father died the day before Christmas Eve, it was horrible.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's always tragic to lose a loved one. To have it happen so close to the holidays, when everything is focused on family, friends, and happiness, makes it that much more difficult. Again, I'm so sorry.
