I'm looking high and low for a dj and a videographer. We got engaged over a year ago and I thought I had all this time... I'm now thinking I wasted so much time

You have time still, don't get stressed. First off, it is the perfect time to start attending a lot of the Bridal Expo's being offered all over the island. I think there is one coming up this Sunday at the Hilton in Huntington. If you have your reception site booked, look into their house vendors. They know the location of the reception best. I suggest for a DJ- Tommy Tunes or Invitation to Dance. Photographer, many good ones...it is based on how much you want to spend. Photo's of the Heart are really good. Happy shopping and congrates on your wedding.

Hello - How is everyone? I just read all of the messages and you ladies are all hysterical and just great... I am actually getting married on 10/16/03 at the Chateau Briand and yes, it's a Thursady night. We sent out save the date flyers with our Christmas cards (I became engaged the day after Thansgiving last year)so no one has an excuse. Yet to book: limo favors Veil and comb shoes makeup hair programs Has anyone started to get the bridesmaids together for the fittings of the dress or have you taken each one at a time (I have 8 girls plus the best person, a female instead of a best man, which makes 9!!!).
Anyone have cheap favor ideas??? My fiance and I are going to make personal CDs so we were thinking like cheap frames that don't tarnish or the Jordan Almonds in tulle (spelling!!)How about shoes - any great places in Long Island or Manhattan????
I just want to get everything ordered, booked, bought and done before the summer so then all I will have to think about is getting a tan and of course, continue dieting....(which I supposedly will be starting soon) I will continue to write on this site very late for I am a night RN who is used to being up late
