Where are all of you in your planning?

I'm looking high and low for a dj and a videographer. We got engaged over a year ago and I thought I had all this time... I'm now thinking I wasted so much time

Welcome to the boards!!!! They're so addicting!!

I highly recommend Cathy's in Lindenhurst (right on Sunrise Highway across from Tang's) for BM dresses. They're awesome - I've gotten 2 BM dresses there and my girls and I went there two weeks ago. The service has always been excellent.

Alison- Welcome! We registered in August so people would know what to get us for X-mas, Birthdays,etc.

I know Bed,Bath & Beyond sends you a list of anything that will be discontinued and then you can go online and delete it and replace it with something else.

Well ladies, another decision has officially been made! Woohoo! I have decided to go with this gown in WINE for my BM's! My MOH will be in the same dress but in CHAMPAGNE! I am very excited! My FG's are also in a CHAMPAGNE colored dress. So I thought that would look nice! We are going the Saturday AFTER Christmas to get these dresses ordered, woohoo, another thing to cross off!

Alison- Welcome abord, and yes, it's very addicting and very helpful!!!
We registered 2 weeks ago, and I went back to finish at Fortunoff's on Sat. They let you know if things are going to be discontinued before you can even zap the gun! They're really good like that. As far as China patterns or anything like that, I don't see that being discontinued for next year! Can you believe we're under a year? OH MY GOD!!!!

Went to the bridal Boutique in Massapequa (spelling?) and bought my tiara! They're going out of business, last day is Wed. I'm thrilled! I love finding a deal!

Thinking of Bridesmaid dresses I'm starting the hunt this week. I may go to Macy's in Manhassett tonight, not sure. There's also a place called 'Here Comes the Bridesmaid' in Lake Success- 516-466-2432. Worth looking into. I know a lot of girls who ordered from them. (They have a location in the city which I'm going to go to at lunch).

Lauren! I love the Champagne & Wine combo!!! Congrats on your decision They're going to look so beautiful!!!

Thanks! I got the pic in! I already posted it before, but figured this way you can see it again! I hope the wine/champagne go, I think it should! My guests are going to think I have a drinking problem. Especially since my favors are mini bottles of wine and wine glass charms! haha!

I'm right there with ya Karen! I've got tons of videos, pilates, yoga, zumba, sweating to the oldies, etc., I go on workout spurts, if only I can keep myself in a nice exercise routine! I need WILL POWER! After the holidays is my goal too!

I bought the Firm videos on the infomerical - they really work, if you stick with them. I got bored of that after 6 months, so then I bought the Windsor Pilates (I'm an infomerical junkie lately). That stuff is STILL sitting in the box!! I HAVE to motivate myself - usually once my pants bulge I get motivated!!

LOL! you are too funny!!! I got the entire Windsor Pilates set too! I love those tapes! Although I've been slacking off this week! Apparently though, you will have a longer & leaner body so we'll see! haha! The Zumba tapes are fun too! You can find those on infomercials too! It's like Latin Dancing, but aerobic exercising! I literally throw myself in the gym! If I don't go to the gym, I won't do anything. it's so hard to motivate sometimes! Sat. is a good day to start again. I just keep thinking of myself in my dress and being self conscience in it- nothing could be worse than that feeling (am I terrible or what?)

From this point forward - it's all about the dress!!! I need nice, toned arms for this thing. It just seems far enough away that I can keep putting things off!!! I could lose the weight and regain it 5 times before the wedding!!

YAY! I'm like that too! I need DESPERATELY to tone my arms!!! I never planned on a strapless gown and now I have one and my arms are NOT as nice as I'd like them to be! Anyway, pig out tomorrow. Diet starts on Saturday like mv1003 said! haha!

Hey Ladies,

Hope you all had a good Turkey Day!!!! We spent this weekend moving FI's things to the condo! It's so weird to have him here 24/7!!! It's a lot of fun, but it's also a BIG transition.

Everybody motivated to lose some weight and tone up???? Of course this morning I went to the diner with my girlfriends for our monthly brunch - not good for the diet.

Anybody get any wedding stuff done this weekend??
