For my colors i'm going for icy blue or dark blue (i haven't officially decided yet) and silver or something like that. So, if i find a blue dress I like for the girls, then the guys'll be in silver, and vice versa.

Oh I hope we all get to meet each other! :) Okay, so I know to hit up the mashed potato bar first to find some of you (I don't know HOW we managed to pull my parents away from the mashed potatoes... LOL). You might find me drooling on the picture of the roast pig where the menu coordinators are (glorious!! LOL).

Anyone decide if they're going to do any decorating besides flowers?

So if we are all going to the mashed potatoe bar I would assume that we are all not on a diet trying to fit into our gowns. Love the carbs. Are any of you using the Garden room as you reception room and if so what type of centerpieces are you doing. I was told to try and keep it low. My color is aubergene (purple/burgundy). Its a beautiful color. Any ideas let me know.

as far as i'm concerend, potatoes are in the vegetable category and veggies are healthy.

I quick popped into a wedding a few weekends ago to see how it was set up. The BM told me that as far as centerpieces go, low is better (besides, the ceilings are low there too). And he's right. My friend John got married last October at Chateau LeMar (spelling?) and the centerpieces were these beautiful tall glass vases with 2 dozen of the most GORGEOUS long-stemmed red roses you've ever seen. Probably cost a lot right? I'm NOT even kidding you, EVERY TABLE put their centerpieces on the floor away from them because they were so big you couldn't see anything on the dance floor or anyone across from you. I felt SO bad for them...they spent all that money. So yeah, I think i'm keeping it low.

We got the mashed potato bar thrown in for free, but we were thinking about swapping it for a sundae bar...........but if it's that good, maybe we should keep it!

I got the full Viennese Hour and in the description it says it comes with some kind of sundae bar or a variety of ice creams. I am just wondering what is this Brooklyn sundae bar is that extra? Should I get it or just stick with the ice cream that comes with my VH

Me and FH are debating as to keep the extra hour or tell them we don't want it. Originally we said we wanted it but now were trying to keep cost down for my parents and thought that was a good way. This way then we don't have to pay the extra hr for the band as well. But if we don't have the extra hr...do we still get a full VH?? I am so confused!!

Manor Room ladies...which door will you be making your entrance from? I was thinking about entering from the patio outside?

My wedding is from 6-12, until 12 becasue of the extra hour for the Viennese. But I would love to extend it until 12:30 or 1:00. Do you know how much it is to extend it one more hour on top of the VH? What time is your wedding?

starts at 6. I am not sure how much extra it is. I will check my contract when i get home.

I was reading other posts about WM and the different prices people got. I see prices in the 70's, 80's etc. I am paying like over $150 pp for a Sunday wedding in June. Is that alot? But I I got an awesome menu package and free extras. Did everyone else get a good deal, a good menu package, free extras, at a good price? Is 150 alot or little? Its prob more because I am adding the seafood boat and candy bar. I also guess June is the most priciest month to get married

I'm paying $59 per person!!! But it's in the winter....and during the day...and I didn't add anything (I'm trying to be a budget bride).

If I could afford it, I would totally do things your way and do it in June, when the weather is nice and get EVERYTHING!! I think the price isn't bad. I was told that weddings in June start at around $125-ish...so considering you have all that other stuff, it's pretty good.
