I was reading other posts about WM and the different prices people got. I see prices in the 70's, 80's etc. I am paying like over $150 pp for a Sunday wedding in June. Is that alot? But I I got an awesome menu package and free extras. Did everyone else get a good deal, a good menu package, free extras, at a good price? Is 150 alot or little? Its prob more because I am adding the seafood boat and candy bar. I also guess June is the most priciest month to get married

I'm paying $59 per person!!! But it's in the winter....and during the day...and I didn't add anything (I'm trying to be a budget bride).

If I could afford it, I would totally do things your way and do it in June, when the weather is nice and get EVERYTHING!! I think the price isn't bad. I was told that weddings in June start at around $125-ish...so considering you have all that other stuff, it's pretty good.

I'm paying the same price for 1/20/08 without too many addons....although I DID manage to secure the Manor room for only 160people minimum.

As far as my grand entrance goes...there's a good chance it's going to be bloody COLD outside so i'm definitely coming in through the main doors from the inside. :)

And I'm paying 106pp for a Friday night... that's before add-ons and stuff, I'm sure that June would be more expensive than August too, so I think you're fine!

Yes please let us know how that goes. They called me the other day saying to make an appointment to come in and visit them, and I told them I wanted to talk to my FH first then I will call them back. I dont mind to use them, but you know its not going to be completely complimentary, shouldn't you give them something for helping???

So I just got back from the meeting, and basically all that they do is go over where you are at as far as wedding planning, and a timeline of what you should be doing. They have a folder with suggested vendors from WM, and they answer any questions that you have. They also booked my appointment with Pedestals for me tomorrow. It's really just that first meeting that is complimentary, if you wish to use them further then you have to pay. I think it's a good idea to meet with them just to see that you're on the right track and to have any questions answered that you might have. They are very nice and helpful, I met with Giovanna. Other than that, I think I can handle the rest of my planning by myself!

Hey ladies... hope you don't mind me lurking here....

I saw a few posts about the cakes and I can tell you that I had whip cream with the cherries inside and I have a pic of my face going 'wow, that's some damn good cake'. I can't wait for the one year to have some more! I think FallBride2005 had carrot cake with her autumn theme and I know she spoke highly of that too.

Do you mind if I ask how much is it going to cost if you stick with the planner? I think I will just go in to visit the first time and then I can do all the plannig myself bec I really dont want a planner.

I actually didn't ask about pricing if I used them, and they didn't tell me either... so I'm really not sure. They basically just said if you'd like to come in we have a file already started for you to just let them know.

So I just got back from stopping by the Westbury Manor! I am going to meet with Pedestals tomorrow and wanted to look at the room to see what flowers I thought would look good! Plus any excuse to stop in, lol... I love it there!

Does anyone know if aisle runners are allowed? And if we're allowed to throw rose petals (or other stuff) at the end? I'm having my ceremony in my reception room (manor room)

I know some reception halls don't allow that....

I believe they do allow aisle runners bec last time I visited they were setting up for a Manor Room ceremony and I think I saw an aisle runner. And they should allow rose petels, I dont see why not.

I'm using a WM photographer/videographer, but I went with Proline Studios... I didn't meet with Sherwood Triart at all so I can't really help you out!
