Hey all you 09 Swan Club girls! I figured since there are quite a few of us now, we could definitely start our own thread. I like using the past threads for some great ideas, but I also figured this is a good place for us 09 planners to post questions and share ideas.

Does anyone know how the menu picking works? I know you're supposed to go there for lunch first to try the food... do you go there at any specific time? Just wondering bc FH is off next week and that would prob be the only time we can make it there for lunch. Hmmmmm....

It's tuesday-friday from 12-2 I believe.... not sure of the exact time. I'm getting married 5-24 and they said we should choose our menu first week in May

So how long ago did you go there for lunch? Are they going to think I'm weird if I want to go there for lunch next week when I won't be picking the menu for another two months?

Or do you go to lunch and pick the menu at the same time?

I have a friend interested in Swan Club for her wedding next year. Does anyone know for each room where the ceremony is/can be and also where cocktail hours are held for each room?

Re: *Official 09 Swan Club Thread*

All ceremonies are in the Pavillion. The cocktailhour for the Contessa is on the outside patio, the CH for the Garden is in the Pavillion and teh CH for the Camelot is in 'atrium' like room atttached to the Camelot.

because the person getting married in the garden room uses the pavillion for there ceremony last and then after the ceremony they convert the room for cocktail hour.

All rooms have different start times... thats how they can space everything out and still have everyone use 1 single space

do you goys think the ceilings are too low in the camelot room for tall centerpieces? ? I told my florist I want them tall beacause i love that look however, now I am having second thoughts considering the ceilings are kind of low. Opinions please....

TIA

Re: *Official 09 Swan Club Thread*

It's pretty cool how they use it for both. Once everyone is in for the ceremony, they block off the back of the room to setup for the CH. At the end of the ceremony everyone exits forward out toward the garden and loop around the garden to enter the CH at the back part of the room. This also gives them time to breakdown the ceremony area to setup for the next wedding without interrupting everything. I've seen it done, it works.

On a nice day, it can work too good because you have to coax people back into the room for food and out of the garden area. For the Garden Room, the ceremony is at 1pm, and CH is from 1:30-2:30.
