Hey all you 09 Swan Club girls! I figured since there are quite a few of us now, we could definitely start our own thread. I like using the past threads for some great ideas, but I also figured this is a good place for us 09 planners to post questions and share ideas.

I was told it was $500. That is for a Saturday night wedding. I am not sure if the price varies.

Hey TheLadyJ we're Hall Room Twins! Your maitre'd is probably Christian. Check out the Bride's review. An 08er had our room and Matri'd and gave a thorough review.

Hey TheLadyJ we're Hall Room Twins! Your maitre'd is probably Christian. Check out the Bride's review. An 08er had our room and Matri'd and gave a thorough review.

Per the brochure i received it said it was $600!!!!!!!! that is insane, i can buy one for $40....

Yeah I know, I thought that was a little crazy too.
I'm 90% sure we're going to get the Platinum package, maybe I'll be able to get them to throw that in for free, haha.

wow. we got the platinum. but when we originally signed the contract we were using their flowers for the ceremony and we changed our mind. I think we might just upgrade the ice sculpture. i cant see $600 for the chocolate fountain.

Has anyone tried going there for lunch? FH and I were thinking about going next week to try the food and see what the flowers looked like this time of year but if lunch is $$$ we might skip it.

Lunch is free, just let them know you are booked to be married there and you want to try the food... FH and I went and it was great

Platinum package includes the ice sculpture so you dont have to pay extra for that

SC said it's another $300 for them to add flowers.
I am going to call this week with a bunch of questions and make an appointment to have them answered in person.
Things I want to know:
Does the chapel have speakers? What are the dimensions of my room? Can I skip all the cakes and pies at the Vienese and just have the chocolate fountain for the same price, along with the ice cream bar?

Personally I def think you can skip the vienese if you are going to have th fountain and ice cream bar. The past couple of weddings that i have been to that have the vienese table, I feel like it was barely touched, and so much was wasted. I know they are super nice and thats just some peoples preference, but I don't like wasting food like that...JMO.
sorry i can't help w/ chapel questions since i'm doing a church ceremony. GL!
