Hello fellow swannies!!

i just posted on the 08 board, but i'll post here too since i'm not sure how many of our '08ers are still on here...

Anyway, has anyone booked shuttles for their OOT guests to take them to the swan club? if so, who, and what size vehicles? i am thinking i need either a coach bus or two 32 psgr vans.

We're just getting shuttle vans through our limo company. We probably won't have more than 20 people staying at the hotel so they said the van can just make two trips.

Hi Swannies.

I recheduled this weekend to Sept 5, 2010 but I had a question for anyone that is getting married on a Saturday night during peak season.

Can you please FM me the price you are paying per person (especially if you are in the Contessa room).

In case you don't know, I was scheduled to get married there October '09 and I had to postpone until Sept 2010. When I called they said they would honor the 2009 rates for me if i rescheduled to 2010. But when I got there I was told that my original rate was a very nice discount and they could no longer honor that rate for 2010, and I would have to pay the regular 2009 rate.

At the time I was not aware I had received a discount, because I was quoted a rate on my initial visit, and when I booked the same rate was applied. No one ever said I was being offered a discount or anything. I wanted to check with another Saturday night bride to see if I was being lied to or told the truth. So, if you could please FM me the info I would be grateful and it would set my mind at ease.

wow. we got the platinum. but when we originally signed the contract we were using their flowers for the ceremony and we changed our mind. I think we might just upgrade the ice sculpture. i cant see $600 for the chocolate fountain.

Platinum package includes the ice sculpture so you dont have to pay extra for that

I didn't see your response till just now. I think they said there were two ice sculpture options available with the the platinum package but anything different would be an additional charge.

Excellent! We also both hired Pastor April., it'll make her day easy.
What room did you book?

I haven't done anything other than the basic booking. Have so many questions like how long should my aisle runner be, cake, table linens, etc. Ugh!

I just saw a post on the 2010 boards from a girl who said she visited the SC and the BM told her they were completely re-doing some of the rooms! Has anyone else heard this or know when it's happening??

no i havent ... when i booked with them, i asked em that and they had no intentions whatsoever... at least for camelot rm... since they said they recently revamped it

My job was suppose to have something there the 23rd but it was canceled so I thought that might be the date of the showcase but now that I think about it, that is too short notice.
