Hey ladies, This is for all of us Westchester Brides out there (any anyone else looking for info or ideas of course). I love LIW and have gotten a TON of great ideas on here, but it may be helpful for us to have our own thread so we can share local vendors, places, ideas. I'll start w/my info and what I'm still looking for that would be great if it's local to Westchester.

Thanks!! Yes, its Pronovias. Never heard of them before I went to Kleinfelds, but they have beautiful dresses.

Thanks!!! I knew I wanted a mantilla from the start and not that I went looking for a dress that would allow it, but I was so happy that the dress I fell in love with would match one.

Holy Crap is right. I say that to myself almost on a daily basis...soon it will be 5. You're not a slacker don't worry. Do you have any big vendors still left to book?
not really. i have dress, photo, officiant, makeup, DJ and booking flowers tomorrow. I guess limos is next but I dont think i need to do that now. anything im missing?

I;m using Sachiko Yanase. shes so sweet and nice! she will come to Crowne Plaza the day of the wedding. i was going to suggest her to you but I think you mentioned you wanted someone from Westchester. But if not, you can try her. The trial took place in Astoria. the best thing about her - she does both hair and makeup so i only have to hire one person!

Oh I don't care where they're from, I just figured no one from Queens would go up to Westchester so I figured I'd limit my search to up there. Is she in Astoria, cause that's where I live so it would be easy to set up a trial. Does she charge extra to travel and do you need to guarantee a certain amount of people? Anyway I am meeting officiants now, still need to send the save the date, book limo, look at honeymoon flights, get girls to start ordering their dresses and I sure tons of other stuff lol

check out Pastor April for officiants. shes great and she wrote up our entire ceremony already. another thing for you to not think about. as for honeymoon - how about a travel agent? at least they could do the legwork for you. just trying to help save some time for ya.

I def have Pastor April on our list to check out, I will mention your name, maybe you can get a discount. As for the honeymoon we already have the villa just a matter of flights so I won't stress that for now.
I just wish I could get paid vacation for like 3 months lol.
As for Limos I am going to check out a couple of places in Westchester, I have been getting these things in the mail.

Most of my friends have used Silver Star Limos which is based out of Yonkers. I haven't heard a complaint yet. Give them a call.
