I went with FM Entertainment... I highly suggest going with them if you are looking for more than a dj/mc...

girls, im upset.....i just went to drop off a payment and noticed there are NO palm trees at all. I know this is silly but I really want them at my wedding. This is one of the things that really drew us to clm. I love that whole look and we are having a tropical theme. Today is may 13th and there are no palm trees up, my wedding is may 29th next year. I was told that the palm trees are usually up no later than the 1st week in May. Im not happy.....

That's weird! They told me there would definitely be palm trees for my date too (may 23). Ugh! I know they said they get them shipped in from somewhere, Maybe they're late for some reason?

Any new news on the palm trees??
I have a silly grievance...has anyone noticed the chairs they sit the bride and groom in with the big ducks sitting on your shoulder lol...what can we do about those!!?? They are rough looking.

lol i like those chairs i fell like a queen and king in them lol, but i never noticed the ducks !! haha thats weird. they have regular chairs for the bride n groom if u have ur wedding upstairs i think...you could probably use those if you dont like the big chairs.
as for the palm trees, my friend called and the receptionist told her that the trees are on order and they are supposed to deliver on 5/21. So we will see if they really do !

I dont know if anyone has done this already, but i just went to the courtyard marriott to block rooms. Jessica is soo nice, and everything looked great. The rate is 139.00 and if you have 10 rooms booked they get a free shuttle to and from the wedding. they also have a breakfast buffet for 9.99. If 15 rooms get booked, you get a free room, this does not include the bridal suite, but they will take money off for you if you book the bridal suite. Just wanted to give you guys the info if you are interested! She said you can block rooms up to a year in advance.

I blocked rooms here too! It does seem really nice. I like that the 56 Fighter Group is so close too...a great spot for an after party :o)

hey guys, i wanted to get your opinion on this candelabra. I wanted to do something other than floral centerpieces, and thought that candles would be nice for winter. I was thinking of putting cream rose petals all around it. What do you think? Do you think it will be too small for those tables? I know they give you 2 tapered candles also, do u think i should keep them if i use this?
i think that centerpiece is beautiful. i would put that in my home ! I dont think I would use the additional candles that clm provides if you go with that centerpiece.
*** PS- Fh and I took a drive past clm tonight and the palm trees are up and look spectacular!!! the place really looked sooooo amazing !!!

hey ladies...
I have been making a list of things that I have been thinking that I want to ask CLM. I just called and here are my questions and answers I recieved.
1.) How long is the aisle (inside and outside)? I am looking to get married outside, but if the weather is not nice, it will be inside. I want to make a personal isle runner. >>>He said 50 feet should be enough.
2.) Does the service charge include tip for the waiters/waitress? >>>He said it includes the tip for the waiters. The only people you are expected to tip from CLM are the Maitre D, and Bridal Attendant. > How about valet? ?? I didn't think to ask this.
3.) Do I need a certificate of insurance from FM Entertainment since they are not a house vendor, but have DJ'd at CLM? >>>yes, he said to have them fax it over. All non-house vendors meals are 50% off
4.) Where is the cake from and can I get a cupcake cake? >>>Campbells bakery, speak to Greg, yes they make cupcake cakes.
5.) Since place cards are included, do I have a choice? >>>no there is only an ivory colored place card
HTH... If you guys think of any questions and find the answers out, let me know too!!
