So many other RH's have their own threads... I searched but couldn't find one for the Woodlands... are there even enough of us on here to have an official Woodlands thread???
I decided to add the list of 2010 Woodlands Brides... there aren't many of us!!!
Hi ladies! This is probably a question for my BM but I was wondering.. do we get a choice of linen colors?? All these details I am sure they told me but I can't remember!
no we dont. they have a company that you can order from though.
are u sure? when i booked they told me they had like 35 different colors to choose from?!?!
I think you got confused with the napkins - I think we can chose any type of napkins but linens are extra...What color do you have in mind? Yours is next - are you excited - did you have your food tasting?

i def. feel that way too. but for this matter, we were told that when i booked (in january).
ok i just looked through the papers i had from when i booked....it says choice of custom napkin color so i guess its just napkins not other linens..

I've only got into contact with Helen once and the rest of the time - no response...That really is unprofessional - they take our deposits and forget about us. WTH??? What do you mean paying to bring people for the tasting? I thought it was FREE up to 6 people??? That's not right!

Hello ladies! I just wanted to see if someone would FM me some info on the Woodlands. I looked at the website and I have heard that it is nice but I havent seen it in person. I want to have a Friday night wedding in July 2011. I want to have an outdoor ceremony. Any pricing, minimums, and pictures would be truly appreciated :)

You could always try to get in touch with Sally also. I emailed Raquel (the free wedding planner) to figure out who my contacts were since Melanie is out on maternity. Also, if you call Connie is very helpful over the phone.
When I talked to Jon Scalice (General Manager) to make sure that we were okay since the restaurant closed he mentioned that an roofdeck (restaurant deck) after hours option would be possible. I am not about to pay more after wedding- but I its sooo nice up there!!

I also just spoke to FH - he said Nicole said we could bring up to 6. They never mentioned a pricing OMG I'm getting more frustrated with this RH...LIARS i tell you!

I am pretty sure I was told that too about the tastings. I was also told that I could set up a tasting whenever I am in town since Im OOT bride and it sounds like that is not going to be honored either...

She told me that since I booked my wedding in May the Woodlands has changed their menu tasting policy to include 4 people (she didnt say anything about 2). But since I was originally told 6 ppl-- you ladies are not crazy, that is what they said--she said it wasn't a problem and that they would honor that. There was no mention of an extra fee or anything like that.
If I were you, I would go back and tell them when you signed that contract it was with the understanding that 6 ppl could attend the tasting and I would not pay an extra cent.
Well, that's just my two cents. Good luck!!

yeah we talked to Joe the general manager bc we were concerned since they had told us we could bring ppl.
he said if u were told when u booked that you could bring upto 6 ppl than they will honor that but any new bookings their policy has changed.

no shes not. we talked to Joe last week and he said he couldnt say for certain when Melanie would be back or if she would be back at all. She is really enjoying motherhood and has extended her maternity leave a few times... who knows if she will come back at all

Wow! I can't believe that. I'm sort of disappointed. I would have booked The Woodlands regardless but Melanie was so wonderful to work with it was an added bonus. I've tried speaking with Helen twice and it's just not the same.
