Taylor is absolutely horrible!
I don't understand why anyone votes for him... I see he is popular but I don't get it because he doesn't have a great voice..

Here is my take on this. Forgive me if I come across as patronizing, but I don't know how many of these performers (or much of their audience tonight for that matter) are truly familiar with the entire body of music Queen is/was responsible for based on their ages alone.

Queen was HUGE in the 70s and 80s. I remember them vividly as I lived through both decades. Freddie Mercury had perhaps one of the most if not THE most incredible voices in all of rock, if not music in general. He was a classically trained opera singer. To have amateur singers make any attempt at this sort of body of music just isnt fair to them.

To be honest, 'making a song your own' doesnt work in this case with the exception of maybe Paris. I dont really even like her but she was the best of the lot tonight. Amazingly enough, she, the youngest contestant, was born only about a year or so before Queen released its last album. How could we expect any of them to come close!

I have to definitely agree with you. I am a big music fan and no one can sing like Freddie!! I really wasnt expecting them to come close but I agree that Paris was the best one IMO.

i cant stand pickler and paris-they annoy me so much LOL
I like Katherine-she has an amazing voice and range, love CHRIS-soo hot, feel bad for bucky-he tries, l like elliot-he's pretty good
Ace-i really could do without, his eyes bother me, he always looks like he's tryign to be dreamy and he looks stoned LOLOL

HELLLLLLOOO, what happened? How come nobody posted about tonight's results? I was at a Passover Seder but came home and watched.

I really wanted Ace to go already but I guess it was time for Bucky to go. How come my Elliott was in the bottom 3 again. I think it's because he doesn't have that 'LIKABILITY Factor'. The rest of the idols are popular fo their personalities ecxept maybe Katherine.

I agree, Katherine has NO personality whatsoever. I think Elliot was in the bottom three cuz he never seems to put any emotion into his performances. Sorry, but I don't see him making it to the top 3...

I agree.... elliot has a good voice but no personality when he sings. Katherine just annoys the C-p out of me but has an amazing voice. She is sorta awkward and I hate her mannerisms.

My take on this week (overall this Idol is not nearly as good as the last few seasons)

I actually like Paris - i think she can really sing! If we can ever get to week that makes sense for her to sing - What is up with Queen and Rod Stewart! BOO.

Kelly gets on my nerves (it's his accent - i don't have an accent).

Chris is HOT and insanely talented....

Katherine doesn't connect at all and I think the judges want her to win, they talk her up, but the reality just doesn't match the commentary....

Taylor is entertaining and good but the seizures have to stop.

Elliot he has a weird look with the camera - but I like his voice.

Ace - Pretty but not that good.. i'm hoping kelly's next to go, but if not I'd like him out next.

Bucky - It was past due. But I think he'd be a good country novelty act (Save a horse ride a cowboy anyone?)

I missed it last night! This week was ok...it was actually better than I thought it was going to be when I saw they were going to sing Queen songs. I think Taylor did awesome...and Chris, eventhough his song was weird. I think it will be heard to figure out who will go from here...I think Elliot will probably be next. I was surprised about Mandisa last week...I thought she was really good.

I think Ace needs to go way before Elliot. I really like Elliots voice, he is a little strange to look at though....
Paris is probably my favorite
Chris is super talented but I don't think in an American Idol kind of way. I'm sure he'll be successful anyway
Taylor is annoying
Kelly is SUPER annoying I'm really sick of her act
and
Katherine has zero personality and I don't think she sounds that great...

Again, I have to say that Ace is the 'friend with benefits' that serves a purpose, but should never ruin things by speaking. Easy on the eyes - not on the ears. Put Elliot's voice in Ace's body and you'd have something to contend with.

I was a little disappointed with Chris. I think he should have done Under Pressure or Hammer to Fall. I think the problem was that he chose an obscure song. He was good, but I actually agreed with Simon that he had the potential to do something really special. Overall, I was disappointed but I actually think Pickler did a great job. Ace and Elliott were horrible. JMHO


As for the eliminations, I think it should have been Ace. Bucky wasn't that bad this week.

I think people WANT Ace to do well because of his looks and he isnt cutting it. I think if people under 18 (and anyone who would qualify as a desperate housewife) didn't vote, Ace would have been gone a long time ago.

I agree with you. But to be honest, I don't think he's cute. He gets on my nerves actually.
