Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
I'm turning to you lovelies in the hopes that you can help me...I moved to Atlanta, GA and am in desperate need of an Indian salon to get my eyebrows threaded and get waxing done. Any ideas of listings I could search? I know there is a huge Indian population in Atlanta, why can't I find businesses? Please help!! I miss NY!! Only for the threading!!
Thanks!!

To be honest, I have no clue about Atlanta salons. One suggestion I have is to check out Sulekha.com they have city based chat forums as well a classified ads section. I would check out both of those sections for suggestions.
Good luck.

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
Hi, I just signed up today. This is a really fun thread. :)I'm getting married in Sep. I'm Chinese, and my fiance is Indian -- his family is from Bangalore. We want to have a hindu ceremony, but I'm not sure quite how to go about finding a officiant for it.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Since most of the people at the wedding will not have attended anything like this before, including myself, it would be nice if we can find a priest who can explain the ceremony as he goes along as well. Thanks a lot for you help.

I definitely recommend Crest Hollow. Some other ones, I have been to were at Terrace on the Park, World's Fair Marina.
