Yes I did, and I do NOT recommend them. Read the official National Floral thread.

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread

Does anyone know where I can get a blouse made for a sari? I am hoping there is some place in Hicksville that does this. Do you know how much it would cost? TIA.

There are few places in hicksville I know of, BUT i highly recommend Jackson Tailor in Jackson Heights. They'll do a PERFECT Job for $30.

ALL the other places i've heard of and been to, are no where close to perfect and they charge the same or more!

Jackson Tailor are real professionals from India, and they can really do any style for you - in a week or 2 max.

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread

Alfonse Pagano does great work.

Alfonse Pagano

If you click on proofs, you'll be able to check out the weddings he's done. The first one 'Amit and Danish' is a Hindu wedding.

Check out his work for another Hindu ceremony:

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread

i get my blouses made in jackson heights. i have had several outfits also tailored there and i'ts nothing but perfect. it's between $30-$45 bucks, depending on style and work.

the name is rani sahiba/kachins tailor. 37-12 74th street in jackson hts. (there's a huge red awning that says tailor and you have to go up some stairs)
