Are there enough of us to have our own official Inn at NHP thread? I feel like we should have one . . . thoughts?

are u gettin married at the INN or at a church? also what time does your cocktail hour start? what are ur guests doin inbetween and where are u taken pictures, LOL. wow thats a lot at once,

We are getting married at church in Valley Stream, so not too far away. Our ceremony is at 4 and our CH starts at 7. In between we are just going to take pictures at the Inn. I didn't want to risk getting stuck in traffic and rushing through pictures anywhere and I really want mostly photo-journalistic shots . . . so, that is our plan.
What is yours?
Are you planning on going to the CH? Are you having it in the Tuscany room?

My church is at 3pm.. and inbetween i am lookin at taken pics at the sand point reserve.. the only thing im worried about is what my guests are goin to do inbewteen that time I take pics until the cocktail hour.. My church is at st pats in glen cove so its not that far from the INN. what are ur guests doin? I will def be attending our cocktail hour!!:)
cocktail hour is at 7pm and Im def goin to have it in the Tuscany room.. I loooove it!!!! :)

I'm not sure about what our guests are doing. I'm kind of not worrying about that too much. I think the Inn said they could start accommodating guest by like 6-6:30 in that foyer room just for our 'signature drink' so, really, there won't be that much time between the ceremony and CH.
Most people are local anyway and others will probably go get checked into the hotel and we are going to have a shuttle from the hotel to the Inn - well, that is the plan at least.

If you don't mind me asking, could you FM the hotel you are using that is going to shuttle people from the hotel to the Inn? Thank you!

I blocked rooms at the Garden City Hotel - they gave us a good price compared to their normal rates. FH and I live RIGHT around the block from the Inn, so, we don't really NEED to stay anywhere and we only have a few OOTers, so we are hoping it will be a special night!
ETA: we are paying for the shuttles separately, I believe. We have to iron these details out still.

I haven't heard anything about any upcoming showcases but they do usually have them around this time of year, right?
