Are there enough of us to have our own official Inn at NHP thread? I feel like we should have one . . . thoughts?

Yay! There are quite a few of us! My name is Carla btw and I am getting married at the Inn on 6/25!! Which bms is everyone working with?

I haven't heard anything about any upcoming showcases but they do usually have them around this time of year, right?

The showcase is 2/17 from 6:30-9:30. We should make it a mini GTG!

Has anyone had their tasting yet?

I think the Great Neck Inn offers free shuttles, if my memory of my convo with them at the LIW Shocase is correct. They will be at the Inn showcase according to Frank

I didn't hear about this showcase - did they do a mailing for it? I'm in!!

I did have my tasting before we officially booked and everything was out of this world! it's going to be hard to pick a menu!

We are debating about adding the seafood bar to the CH - is anyone doing this / know how much it costs?

I checked with the Inn at Great Neck and the GCH actually gave us a better rate!! Also, their shuttles are not free - its $450 flat rate for four hours and a 14 passenger shuttle - 2 to drop off at RH and 2 to pick up from RH.

My BM is Linda...and my color scheme is black with silver accents

I went for the food tasting and it was AMAZING...we literally rolled out of there....

I didn't know there was a February showcase...usually something comes in the mail....

My sister in law got married there in sept and their was a bathroom basket and a lady inside to help u!

what is everyone's color theme's?

I'm booked with Linda and she has been super nice, though we haven't dealt with her too much yet.

Our color scheme is, loosely, navy, blush pink, and creamy ivories and green. . .

BM dresses are navy (and so are cocktail napkins and matchbooks, haha)
Invitations are ecru with blush pink accents
Cake will have pink accents
Bo-ks will be blush
CPs will be creamy whites, blush and some green

Hopefully it all works together!

my color scheme is plums/magenta/ indigo.. all the dark exotic colors.. I originally wanted bm dresses to be indigo. but now i want them Plum.. and the flowers will be the magenta/eggplant colors. ..goin bm shopping this weekend so we will see:)

I didn't get anything in mail. I just booked (2011 crasher), so I saw the flyer at the place and Frank also told me about it. I am definitely going with my whole entourage!

bridal reflections in carle place.. I really hope we find something..I know im goin to have such a hard time pickin a dress!!! I want all diffferent dresses but i have 10 girlz!!! LOL

Ooh this is so fun!! Hi everyone I'm an Inn bride as well. I am working with Jenine and she is awesome!! I am having both my ceremony and reception there and can't wait! When I walked into the Inn I KNEW it was our place!!

Oh to answer a few other questions, my colors are eggplant (dark purple), black and white.

My BM dresses are eggplant - Bill Levkoff.

We blocked off rooms at the Long Island Marriott in Uniondale and are having two shuttle vans from Camelot providing transportation for our guests.

So excited to talk more with you all! :)

Hi Ladies..I'm so excited that there is an 'Inn' thread!! I was just there tonight to drop off a payment and I had to walk around...it is soo beautiful inside!

Question..I'm debating whether to have my CH outside (if it's nice weather!!) or upstairs in the Tuscany room...The tuscany room is soo amazing and I would hate for my guests not to see it..however my #1 priority was for my reception hall to have an outdoor area for CH.....What did you ladies decide?
