Are there enough of us to have our own official Inn at NHP thread? I feel like we should have one . . . thoughts?

I'm not into high CPs, its just my personal preference. I am going with large, low centerpieces. They will be somewhat elevated - this reminds me that I need to find my footed vase. Will post pics eventually!
I actually saw the room set up with large low centerpieces and it looked so nice that I'm doing the same exact thing...lol

I'm Christina. I am planning on doing high centerpieces. I don't have any pics and I probably won't see my sample anytime soon. My color theme is black and fuschia...I know The Inn provides candles. I think I am going to use the hot pink ones that they offer.
I am also doing uplighting through Tommy's Tunes.

Hi Girlssss! I am Meredith! Beyond excited for whats to come as I am sure all of you are jumping out of your skin too! as for centerpieces I am doing high...the room is just amazing so really I agree it is just a preference choice. I am doing ivory (branches) with purple and white orchids. I think! hahaha! What do you mean the Inn provides candles?? For the tables? You girls are teaching me so much I just didn't know! hahaha so fill me in on this candle business. My florist is also hanging a few candleobras (spelling) from the Centerpieces. But I am sure whatever you choose will be perfect for you.

Hi everyone.. I am getting married at the Inn also!!! Its soo scary that the days are just flying by!! I am going with high centerpieces as well just because the ceilings are soooo high!!

I am doing the uplighting through my DJ but you could do it through your florist and there are also specialty lighting companies that are familiar with the space.
I didn't get a mailer about the showcase!! Should I just call and RSVP?

You can call and RSVP but I don't even think you have to. Another question...does anyone have a picture or know what the table numbers for each table look like? I am trying to decide if I want to have my own made to hang from the Centerpieces. I asked Janine to email me a picture but I think she forgot. Let me know if you guys have any info on that.

I have no idea about the table numbers . . . I'm going to trust that they, along with the menus and escort cards, are going to be as elegant as the rest of the place! I have no time for projects!! I did pick up their direction cards recently and they are pretty nice - very neutral. I'm using them with my invitation suite.

Did anyone go to the showcase last night? I was supposed to but then our flowergirl dresses arrived and we had to drive them out to FILs to have the girls try them - they LOVED them!! And they just looked like the sweetest princesses in them!!
ANYWAY, I'm going to the Inn tonight for dinner with FH and his sister and brothers. We are giving them the tour, they haven't even seen it yet!! SO EXCITED!! I can't wait to eat. YUMMMM

Have fun tonight at the Inn and enjoy the food. I drop off my payments all the time and I always ask if I can see it again or I bring someone new with me all the time. lol

I went to the showcase. It was nice. I liked the setup a lot. The DJ was in the basement, and the food was in the CH room, so that when you were looking at the booths you weren't distracted by the loud music and food.
The CH food was really good. I couldn't eay much of it bc I am veg, but ti was good. LOVED the mandolin player and guitar player at CH.
Cake from buttercooky was yum yum yummy.

Hey Girls!! I am beyond ecstatic there is now an Inn thread! My name is Michelle and I have been engaged and on this website for a year and half now! I wish this thread was started much sooner! lol I am getting married in 16 days!! yes 16 lol so I am beyond stressed lol Here are some of my vendors.. Dj. LI sound (doing uplighting for the whole room) as well as percussionist for reception and mandalin players for cocktail hour Florist: Flower Michele-( doing high and low centerpieces i have actual photos of what mine are going to look like if anyone is interested (john did them) Photographer: Memento Portraits Video: Joanne Rempe Cake:Buttercookys Photobooth-NYC photobooth Dress: Bayshore Bridal Colors: Cinnamon and champagne Upgrades: Martini louge at cocktail hour, full viennese hour, pop corn cart and cotton candy, Seafood boat without lobster, and sushi thing I am having 350-360 guests for a total of 30 tables!!! We have pretty much everything done and in order if anyone has any questions on anything at all please feel free to ask I have been through pretty much it all lol!!!
