Official Land's End Thread

Re: Official Land's End Thread

I am such a late bloomer in all of this. I just set appointments with North Island Photo and Imagine Studios for Photography, so hopefully one of them will work out.

I'm going dress shopping again the 1st week in October. I sort of know what I want, so we'll see. I am going to the Bridal Shop in Massapequa, but I have to say, I keep hearing mixed review on these boards about them, so it's making me kind of nervous

Don't worry Diane, I am also a late bloomer. I am a strong believer that we still have time to plan our weddings.

How about yourself? How far along in the process are you? You are only the weekend before me.....

Re: Official Land's End Thread

Unfortunately I have nothing new to report except I finally confirmed the church. My Mom and my sister are in NJ so I have been driving down there to dress shop which is a pain. I am starting to look at photographers and then I will tackle a DJ and a florist. It is a slow process for me. Fortunately there are plenty of girls on this site to help along the way.

Re: Official Land's End Thread

That is exactly how I feel. Some of the girls on this board have everything and more completed and I feel so far behind, but that's okay, I know in the end it will all get done and it will all turn out great, no matter what.

Hi Samantha,

How's the dress shopping coming along?

Dear Danielle,
I went dress shopping again tonight and it was exhausting! I am going out one more time tomorrow!
Wish me luck!

Since we last chatted, I decided on my dress.

What have the rest of you been up to?

Congrats about getting your dress!

I also got my dress and booked my photographer. Now I'm working on DJ, BM dresses and videographer. Lots to do!

Hey girls,
I'm not getting married at Land's End until October 2007, but I feel as though I should start booking things now, so I'm not overwhelmed a year before the wedding. Is this safe to start now? I figured if I got the DJ, Florist and photography out of the way, I would feel relieved.

Hello ladies!

Just checking in to let everyone know that I booked my photographer.

Now it is on to music, flowers and BM dresses.

Hi Everyone,

I am extremely interested in Lands End (for '07). Can you give me some info on why you chose lands end instead of some less expensive places? I absolutely love it but I really need to justify to myself why i should spend the extra money.

Yes and I will be there with my family! Anyone else going to be there as well?

How is everyone doing with their planning?

I think I found my ceremony music (only three months behind schedule )

I want to go to the tasting! I can't wait for mine! I wonder when the next showcase is - last year it was in February

Re: Official Land's End Thread

I haven't even thought about ceremony music yet, I'm still trying to find my shoes! I just found my veil and hair broach this weekend. I still need my florist and after that it's just little odds and ends. (Oh yeah and Pre Cana.....)

I couldn't attend this weekends food tasting and they told me the next one is in January! I can't wait!!!

Re: Official Land's End Thread

The biggest thing I still need to book is an officiant for my ceremony (just a little important ). We met with one priest and it was a disaster, so I have been procrastinating.

I have been looking a little for jewelry, veil, shoes - but have had no success.....

Re: Official Land's End Thread

I posted a thread on here asking brides about where they found their shoes. I am having the worst luck find shoes. I guess being extremely picky doesn't help?

You are soooo mucky having your ceremony at Land's End!!! I wish I could have mine there. I'm doing the traditional church wedding. I wouldn't even know where to look for officant. Wish I could help!

Re: Official Land's End Thread

We met with our priest tonight and scheduled pre-cana for January - March and also our rehearsal.

I haven't started looking for a veil or shoes or anything yet, but I should get on that soon.
