Re: Official Land's End Thread
I am getting married at the end of September this year at Land's End and I got off to a late start in planning (got engaged in Jan.). I left my searching for a photographer as the last thing on my list and now I am regretting it because all the vendors on Land's End list are booked! I have been given recommendations, such as Michael Cody, Christina Bohn and Verdi. The only issue I have with Bohn and Cody is that they don't provide albums and my FMIL is insistent on an album. However, there photos are amazing and they both are really nice. Any recommendations or input on photographers...in about another week I am going to be delegating the photo duties to my 6 year old nephew!

I had mine in February. It was awesome. All the food was SO good, so it was really exciting. We had our menu picked by the end of the tasting

What did you wind up picking for your menu and CH?

What did you wind up picking for your menu and CH?
Stations - Pasta, Carving (pork) and Caribbean Grill
Combo Course - Coconut Shrimp
Entrees - Filet Mignon Free Range Breast of Chicken Shrimp & Lobster Crepe (and Vegetarian Lasagna on request).
I don't remember what dishes we picked for each station (except for carving it was the Pork). Pretty much we picked one meat and one seafood/vegetarian for each (I don't eat meat).
When is your tasting? It is so much fun - they set up sample CPs and you get to taste wine and eat a bunch of desserts from the desert cart.

Re: Official Land's End Thread
I don't know when my food tasting is yet. I would assume in July/August. Usually it's about 3 months before, right? I can't wait though! And I can't wait for everyone before me to get married so I can see pics and reviews!

Are you having your ceremony at Lands End too. If so are you having it inside or out?

You meet to choose the cake about a month before. But you don't get to taste the cakes If you want to taste different cake combos, you need to contact Thomas at Audrey's. They will make the top tier of a cake with any combo you want for $10 each. I am getting two to try in the next week or so.
