Ahhhhhh! let me know how it goes. Im meeting with them next week thursday. im excited and nervous!
Love DUET...they are my photogs...a few of my epics are in my album. We went with Danny as our photog.
When you meet with Eric he has a pretty heavy accent but he really does try to work with what you want and need...don't let the accent deter you.
I'll try to be patient
I wonder what are some good questions to ask him regarding the photos, i really have no idea and i have no help at all
...argh!!I met with them but decided to go with Twelfth Night instead. Duet was however, very good! When you meet with Eric, he will show you books of photos and then the packages.
I would focus on the photographers (books are organized by photog) and see who moves you. Review the packages, ask about engagement portraits- are they included. Parent albums- can they guarantee the price and perhaps you order them later? Also, do they provide a rainy day re-shoot?
If we had gone with Duet, I would have requested to meet with the photographer himself. I would need to know how well we clicked- that's just my opinion.
SUERTE!! They do great work.

Hi,
I am Suneydis and am 100% Cuban, born in Cuba..lol My DH was born here but he is Ecuadorian. The only think we had in our wedding was spanish music, but of course we mixed it will all types of music. I even had arabic music at my wedding.
Hi! Wow that sounds nice having arabic music, was anyone surprised when they heard it? I was thinking of having samba
I had arabic music because I bellydance, so I hired a bellydancer so there was arabic music for 30 minutes during my cocktail hour. I love it and all my guests enjoyed it.

My DJ Chevy Music Force was super when we met with him like 3 times in his home, he did the whole play list and all, but was a huge dissappointmentNot what we had heard at all. My DH had to tell him not to play a certain song...I didn't want any rap music at my wedding. Make sure you do your hw and get recommendations on DJ's.
Aww man that s u c k s. If you had it in your contract is there anything they can do about it now? Refund you partial money at least.
No, everyone enjoyed themselves, then again I always enjoy myself no matter what. He put old salsa, my husband had to walk over to him to tell him to play certain songs. He had back surgery and yet he was a great MC, but he just didn't run through the music he played at his house (at the time he was also recovery from the surgery). I just wish I had handed him a play list but he was super great the other days. At the end of the night my husband still gave him $200 in tip...I just didn't let things bother me bc we had too much going on.

We booked Elegancia!! I'm so happy to hear that!! I've seen them at other parties not weddings but the dance floor is always packed!
We booked them way back in like 2005...and since then we've sent sooooo many couples to them and all of them were beyond happy. Jose really is a fantastic as well as the rest of the staff. He put himself thru medical school by DJing--and now he is a licensed physician -- but chooses to pursue his DJing full time cause he loves it so much--just shows how much he loves his job! (I believe he still teaches medical students during the week also!)
We are getting our video edited- (long story I just got the raw footage last wknd) - but when I get it done and I have it online--I will be sure to post it on here so you can see and hear how cool the percusionist sounded!
I have tons of pics and stuff in my review!
Love all your pictures and your review was excellent!!!

I bought the invite but boought ribbons to tie the response to the scroll. Then I bought cylinder tubes and wrapped it with pretty fiber paper and added rose petals so when the scroll would come out they roses would also fall out.

That sounds really nice, i like that
...i was thinking of order pocketfolders and just doing my own because my theme is kinda hard to find. I'm having black, white sage and a damask design. This is an example of what my theme would look like.
