I checked out JT and it is beautiful. Just not my style- not into marble and glass chandeliers. We wanted more minimalist decor.

If your Dad is paying for it and if he's already invested so much...I honestly think you would be wrong to jeopardize him losing that. Talk to your RH first, they might lower the price.

Fox is really beautiful also..but the banquet manager pissed me off when i went because he wanted me to put money down right away and not even talk to my FH. He said to me put $1K down so you dont lose the date i said well i have to talk to my fiance first to see what he thinks and the BM said oh he wont care just put the money down so i left and never went back even though i liked it.

Oh WOW! Who did that? That's the worst ever. I would have reported that to management. I actually have been meaning to report the person we met with at Westbury Manor. He also tried to force us and it turned us off.

That's too bad. Fox has been amazing, we were treated to a super expensive brunch, were comped a luxury room for booking a hotel block, I've been to two tea parties (hosted by their in house planners)....I would recommend it to anyone. And then the prices are amazing. I can't believe what we're paying for the quality and level of service we receive.

I dont think so, September is still considered prime wedding season. October is when its died off because ppl are afraid it will get cold. Ayy pls he needs to stop lol. Im getting married at the same place my cousin did and do you think i care..hell nah lmfaooo. As long as i got a nice hall at an affordable price. When is his sister getting married?

Eww not blue chairs..thats not good at all...how about November 7th,2010 its a Sunday and its the first week of November so wont be freezing cold yet. Also it wont be October so he wont think hes copying his sister lol.

Its funny because when i went to first look i went in September of this year for a March 2010 date. The bm says to me if you wait on booking when you come back and your date is unavailable you will be crying..I said well sorry i have to talk to my fiance and said thank you and left.lol

I think his name was Anthony im not sure older guy..Its sad because i heard so many things about Fox on liw but when he did that he pissed me off so bad. They give you tons of food and i really liked that but the bm was just wayyyyy too pushy.

Not to be an a-hole but it was an older guy at the Westbury Manor who told us it would be 'the biggest mistake of our life to not book immediately'.

Uhm yea.

I wonder if that's just old school sales tactics. Clearly, they don't work and guys like this need to get with the times.

I noticed that the older bm's are like that but the younger ones that i have met are totally cool and down to earth and dont try to rush you into things.

Have you though of changing your colors so maybe it can coordinate with the hall colors and you can be excited for it..i dont know lol..i did that since i booked at Leonards..
