hey ladies,
i just want to say something about what everyone said about 'judging' peole about the posts yesterday. im sorry if anyone took offense to what was written by me, but i honestly take offense when someone can sit here and say they sit at home and eat up MY tax paying dollars, then put their two small children in daycare (again tax payers $) , so they can sit at home and do nothing. As a taxpayer, mother and also as an educator, i was pretty upset by this. So, if anyone took offense i apologize, but i do not think it was 'judging', this was my reaction to what was said and it HONESTLY pissed me off..............therefore, i said what i truly felt, and what i felt might have been wrong to some people but this is how i felt, cant help it.
i also got a FM from LIW saying, i didnt treat another member the right way...which is whatever to me right now because i think this person shouldnt be out there telling their personal buisness if they do not think people will say things about it.
on that note im going to stay away from this thread for awhile, i dont feel like being on this thread right now. anyone can FM me if they want

Amen sista! seems like some people can't leave what was said on the thread alone and have to go running to admins about it. I also got that FM.

ohhh ok...ladies....let's get along! we're latinas and we need to positively represent on the boards and everywhere we go. - let's leave this nonsense behind.

Anyhow...glad this thread is around my name is Nina, i'm Dominican born in NY and my FH is Polish. We are going to have a polinican american wedding and incorporate bits of tradition...i look forward to hearing all of your wedding ideas...

I'm not doing the mantilla but I'm having a cathedral...the dominican cake idea sounds yummy

But seriously, this is the same thing that always comes up in other threads. I think if you are not ready to hear what other people have to say about the situtation you are posting, then you better think twice about posting it. While at the same time, I think that we should be entilted to express our opionions on what ever it is, wedding related or not, so long as we do so in a respectful manner (I cant say it wasnt cause I didnt see it).

Freedom of expression baby!!!

Anyone finish their xmass shopping,.....or at least start it?

About what was posted before, I said what I needed to and if a person doesnt wanna be put on blast, then they should be careful about what they say. Other than that, its pretty much over, cause I dont hold grudges

they are not done yet...I just began studying...but its a month long process. I have 1 more and then am done....however cause its my last yr. and I represent clients...I still have to do work on that....

Thats such a bummer, but you will get through it. my finals arent till two weeks from now.... I wanna get it over with and fail already
