Congrats on booking your DJ!! yay! Sounds good.. when Im ready I really think Im going to look in Elegencia! They sound perfect!

They do, they're really good and SUPER professional. What got us was that they don't book all their DJ's, there's always someone on call....God forbid but things happen, we really feel our money is well invested with them.

We decided on the package with live percussion, name in lights, intelligent lighting and perimeter lighting. I was on the fence about perimeter lighting but would rather cut back on CP's to include it. It's a BEAUTIFUL effect.

Let me know how it goes on Tuesday!

Thats really great to know...im meeting with Ultimate Sound...have you met with them? They are cheaper than Elegancia but i dont what is the difference between the two. The perimeter lighting sounds gorgeous!!

It depends. I've heard anything from flowers to cake to the rosary lasso.

Consider their finances and how much they want to contribute. We are Blessed to be able to comfortably afford our wedding, we're asking our Pardinos to buy our Rosary Lasso, place it over us and sit at the altar beside our parents.

Everyone thinks I'm crazy for not asking them to pay for anything.. lol From what I've been told, the Madrina pays for the cake and/or flowers and the Padrino pays for the alcohol and beverages.... But we can afford our wedding on our own..

I'm booking my DJ today!!!!

Elegancia Entertainment has won our business. I'm really excited and can't wait for them to rock the house! We met with them again last night, we're cancelling our other appointment for Sunday.

ANOTHER big item off the list!!

Woo Hoo!! Congrats!! That's awesome!! I'm so excited about them too!!

I didn't book the perimiter lights but lately I keep thinking about it. I might add it on at the last minute!

I did receive a package from Ultimate Sounds but I didn't like that they do photography/video/dj....it just didn't sit well with me. I like people who focus on what they are great at. They were a little less but music makes the party, I don't mind the extra money.

It's tough times for everyone, including Ann Taylor!
I'm SO relieved, now my girls don't have to worry about an expensive dress- one is just getting married and another recently got layed off....2 are students. Everyone wins!
