As you can see - I am absolutely bored and procrastinating from doing work - so I made of list of past and future NRC brides so we can all know where to get info, reviews, opinions and pictures from. Hope this helps everyone! I am sure I missed some past brides and some future brides - I'll still look for more though...
Thanks for all your best wishes girls it was so nice of you!!! e had the Chilean Sea Bass at our wedding and everybody RAVED about it!!! The rest of the foos was great as well, but the Chilean Sea Bass got the most compliments! We had it served with the Baby Lobster sauce.
I am working on my review and should post it soon w/ pics.
PS - The cake was beautiful and sooooooooo yummy!

Hi NRC brides.
For on-site ceremonies, what is the start time for an evening reception? I assume NRC does two weddings in a day so if there is a day wedding (11:30 - 5p.m. or maybe noon - 5:30) would we have to start at 6;30 or 7 p.m.?

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
I went to a saturday day wedding in May and the ceremony started at 12:00 and the reception and CH went from 1-5. They were getting us out of there pretty quick because the other wedding was showing up. So i would guess the ceremony might of started for them at 6 and reception and CH go from 7-1.

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
the cermony starts 1/2 hour before the reception...generally eve reception are at 7, and the ceremony would be at 6:30...the day weddings leave at 5, and so the earliest you come in sometimes after 6.

So the entire wedding is 5 hours total with ceremony?
Most places add on extra time (at least 30 minutes) if the ceremony is on site, an hour for cocktail, and then 4 hour reception - so 5 1/2 hours minimum.

kdrainey -- I believe you are correct. From what I remember before I decided to get married in a church the ceremony was a 1/2 hour b/f the CH and then the CH for 1 hour and the reception for 4 hours.
I would call and verify.

Thanks much. How early can you arrive for a 6 p.m. ceremony? FI and I would want to take pics onsite.

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
They had a morning affair (PTA luncheon) that day, so we were able to get there at 4:45pm, but we took pix before the ceremony at the Old Westbury Gardens.
By the way, I posted my review on the BR board. Here is the link.

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
our ceremony is at 7pm, CH starts at 7:30-9 (we added an extra half hour),then the reception is from 9pm-1am. we are taking pics right after the ceremony on site. that's why we added the half hour, this way we can still make it to CH after taking pics.

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
Ok guys, I'm back from my honeymoon and I just wanted to rave about everything. My family can't stop talking about my wedding. Everything was so amazing!! From the beginning to end, I can't say enough. I wish everyone could have their wedding there. First of all, cocktail hour was awesome. I added the martini ice slide which was a BIG hit, and the shrimps, clams, and oysters. I didn't think I would go down, but I was anxious and wanted to say hi to everyone. The bridal attendant Monica, never left my side. She was amazing. They all made sure we ate. They brought everything we needed to the bridal room for us. The main room looked exquisite. I had 22 tables total including the vender table. They were really nice about table seating. They say make all tables 10-12 per table. We had a two tables of 13 and a few with 8 & 9 people. They were able to change to smaller or larger tables. They are so accomodating and eay to work with. The food was awesome. We had tomato and mozzarella with salad. Everyone loved the Chilean Seabass for main course. My cake looked and tasted terrific. I gave them a a picture of what I wanted and it was stunning. The girl who decorated it actually took me in the room to see if I liked it. Then I had the viennesse hour. WOW!!! So much food and worth every penny. That was the showstopper. People were like , More food!! The service is outstanding, the bar in the room never really got crowded because the staff was really on top of their drinks.*** I dealt with George, Jenn,Kristina, and Monica and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I can honestly say I had the best wedding. I wouldn't change a thing. When the wedding was over- they packed all the extra dinners for us, gave us boxes of all the extra desserts and packaged all the stuff we brought neatly . We didn't have to ask, they just did it. We made bathroom baskets and had favors that some people left on the table- they gave it all back. This place is Top Notch in professionalism and customer service.
P.S. The room setup is fabulous for keeping everybody near the dancefloor. It was perfectly designed so that everyone can see everything. You guys will be so happy with the place- you'll see. I can't wait to show pictures.
