I need to get on the ball with invites too. I know which ones I want - I just need to order them. My wedding is last weekend in November so I wasn't planning on sending mine out until late Sept...think that's ok??? That's would be 8 weeks...maybe I'll do mid-Sept and send them out 10 weeks in advance...???
I still need: - Favors (SO upset the ones we had our hearts set on..the Fall in Love leaf wine charms...are discontinued) - MOB and MOG dress (but that's not really my concern - they can do that without me and take friends with them) - My shoes and undergarments - Veil - Jewelry for me, if any (less is more to me and I may just borrow my sisters fancy stuff) - Book hair and makeup (have trials this Sat) - Need to order some yarmulkes...we're interfaith and I'm the non-jewish one so if anyone knows where I can get the nice black suede ones...the small ones...please let me know! - Ketubah - Finish BM's gifts - Get Best Men and RB and FG gifts - Ring Bearer Pillow - FG Baskets or just use what florist will provide if I don't find what I like - Work out ceremony with priest and rabbi and then do programs - Figure out who's doing readings - OOT baskets for hotels - Limos - Unity Candle
Yikes - seems like a lot of little stuff. Glad all the big major stuff is done though.

Hey date twin! You are still ok for ordering invites. You should definitely have them by July though. I ordered mine early only because I wanted to get it out of the way. The lady who did my invites told me I should send mine out the last week in August or the 1st week in September. I have a lot of OOT guests too.

I'm not 100% sure yet. All I know is we are doing pocketfolds that are a 'mountain rose' color. That's about as far as I've gotten. Doyou think I should send early September, or since I have lots of OOT guests (about 50-60%) should I try to send late August?
I plan on sending my invites out 8 weeks ahead and RSVP date 4 weeks after. I want to avoid people saying yes and then having to say no because something came up, etc. although I know it will probably still happen.

We're doing mid August because of the Labor Day holiday and school starting. We want to make sure we give our guests plenty of time to respond and make arrangements. I think you are find if you do end of August.

here is my update---with 141 days to go!! -ordered invites, so excited, this one was tough for me! -picked up my dress (doing alterations closer to home) -picked wedding ring--just need to order -almost ready to book HM -made the sash for my FG dress, brown velvet to match the BMs im getting there!!!!

I'm using October 1st. Our wedding is on 11/5 so I figure it's the easiest one for people to remember. At least I hope it is!!!

Welcome!!! I'm pretty much where you are. I'm waiting to do invites until next week. Hair trial is in early August. Unity candle is being researched as we speak. The only things I still need to do are GM gifts (BM's are done!), MOH gift, Necklace or bracelet for me to wear (already have the earrings), gift for FH's parents, and tuxes. I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff though!

Hi....wow that place is supposed to be so nice! Sounds fun! I was at a Riu in Playa del Carmen on vacation once and loved the area....Royal Hideaway is supposed to be amazing.
We're doing French Polynesia....Moorea, Bora Bora and Tahaa...can't wait!

i thought i was doing well and then i read what others are doing and i remember gifts for bp, unity candle etc. the only good thing is i am not doing any diy projects i am not creative and just can't be bothered i'll spend a little extra money to have someone do it for me, i'm lazy, has anyone else not booked their honeymoon, i feel like i really need to do this now, but fh is no help which is good and bad it's basically whatever i want but a little input would be nice
