I've selected the tuxes (the guys still have to be measured).

My biggest concern right now is the hair & make-up as well as the MOB dress. My mom is really dragging her feet (ok she's really busy) but we're approaching the four month mark!

Is anyone else having a hard time believing it's only 4 months away!!!!

My mom is dragging her feet too!!!! Totally avoiding it at all costs. And she wants to get her dress before taking my grandmother for hers, so now everyone is behind!

I am starting to have some serious freak outs about the 4 month mark!

Where did you or where are you getting your ring bearer pillow from? I don't want to spend too much.. any suggestions?

I actually got mine from AC Moore. I didn't want to spend a lot because I know it will never be used again.

My mom too!!!! At this point I don't even care. I refuse to stress for two people. She can stress all on her own if she can't find a dress.

I think it's crazy... I refuse to stress over her dress, but I know I'll hear about it if she can't get a dress she wants because of her slow start. Plus she's taking my grandmother with her (eventually).

FMIL is wearing black and pants. One of my aunts (she's the brand name dropper -oh i bought a fendi bag, oh i bought a pair of coach shoes etc) has already bought her dress in big bright RED cause, in her words, she wants to stand out and be seen!!! Maybe I'll stick her in a dark corner somewhere.

i just did the tuxes and at Men's Wearhouse since the entire BP is all over the country.

You're not behind. I was told that they all have to be measured by 11/11/06 (2 weeks before the wedding).

I hope not date twin because I haven't even thought of this yet!

ETA: And I'm also going to use Men's Wearhouse since my guys are all over the place.

My FH went to his friends strore Di Re in Franklin Square. Give Joe Di Re a try if you want.

Speaking of mom's not getting their dresses. Mine still has not even attempted going to try any dresses on! She wants to wait until the last minute b/c she wants to lose some weight..

She knows the exact color she wants to wear.. Royal Blue..

I believe FMIL is going to wear a beige or copper

and I am not sure what FH's Step mom is going to wear based on their color choices.

I Finally got a Confirmation email from my Travel Agent for my HoneyMoon to Tahiti.... This has been a LONG time coming... So we're moving along now. The big things are pretty much done thankfully, but there are sooo many little things that have to be either made (DIY) or bought, that are running through my head constantly.

My BM and I are putting together my guest list for the Calligrapher today, so I can get that out soon... And I'm ordering my runner for the church tomorrow too!! It's amazing all the little things that go into making a wedding Beautiful......

Re: OFFICIAL November 06 thread

i no longer feel so worried that my mom hasn't started looking for a dress yet, although she is also very busy, in the middle of buying a co-op and moving so i understand,

i just put a deposit down on my hawaiian honeymoon

but still have to do the limos
and i am not even thinking about tuxes, everyone i know always goes the last month

oh and i got my invites with the wrong rsvp date but the woman said it is her error and she is paying for them to be redone, i'm so glad i did them early, now i just have to send the calligraphy list, i WILL do it by friday, (i keep telling myself that)

4 months girls

Would you ladies mind sharing who you're using for calligraphy? After Kathleen's issues with Inkspun, I'm rethinking my choice. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Yeah, we actually just booked ours last week. It's a restaurant close to the church. I wanted mine at my parents house but I ran into the same issue -just too many people (and I didn't want to cause my mom more stress that close to the wedding.. lol).
