Where exactly is Gantry Park? I work LIC/Sunnyside area and would like to go nd check it out at lunch time
I guess since i've seen pictures of other brides i wanted it too but thinking about it now too many bikes and tricked out cars around...i really have to look into Gantry park or Roosevelt Island. Theres a point on the island that is kind of a look out point that has fabolous views of the city and of the water.

Yeah dont get me wrong I LOVE astoria but that was my problem with it, and i thought about it too. Also for me i didnt want every idiot in astoria seeing us take pics hahahaha. Roosevelt island is nice too, one girl on here took her e-pics there, her sn is songstress. Gantry park is not that far from Riccardo's. Riccardo's is right on 21st street and all you would have to do is take 21st street down a couple of blocks, by where broadway is, and riccardo's is by astoria boulevard so only a few blocks away, then on broadway you turn and go straight for a little bit and you should be there in like 10 mins, you would take it locally to gantry. My ceremony was in astoria on 45th street and 21st avenue which is further away from LIC than you would be from riccardo's and only took us 10 mins about.

oh god that would've been the worst lol. I was even afraid at the ceremony about that. Our church was not too far from my ex's house and they all take the road to go somewhere. ANd I know his friends in the past have driven by churches to see their ex girlfriends getting marriedwhich is funny actually. But if anybody i knew would've driven by the church i wouldnt have honestly known.
Thank goodness that if they did pass by you would've been inside the church or else that would've been terrible. Ugh guys can be so mean passing by churches to see if their exes are getting married...ugh!!

People are so nosy and will stop to observe anything that is eye catching, thats like on the highway you see ppl stopping to look at a firetruck that is sitting on the shoulder..it's ridiculous but they do it just to be nosy lol..
I got married at TOP and took pic in Astoria Park an the LIC Piers. I do not recommend Astoria Park as there are so many people walking buy and most likely will come out in the background of your pics. I do recommend LIC piers.

theres quite a few other queens brides on here. Theres LOTS of Russo's on the bay brides, quite a few Terrace on the Park. Douglaston manor, which douglaston is still considered Queens. Theres been a few Watersedge brides, Caffe on the green brides too. I would say Russo's is the most popular on here
I've never been to Russo only heard great things about them. Caffe on the green is really nice too..saw pics online.
