SEA in williamsburg brooklyn...Very trendy and hip type place decor. When you walk in theres a bar for waiting area, and in the waiting area theres big swings for people to wait, the pod type chairs, and other cool and funky type seats.

THeres a long pool and a buddha at the end of it in the middle of the restaurant and you can sit on the side, and the way the chairs are made it looks like youre sitting on the floor, hard to explain...then they have regular tables all around...they play trance music and have disco lights...the first time i went i didnt like what i ordered but i went last week and it was real good. And also its like a big hot spot now and you would think they charge more but their prices are very reasonable.

Sea is one of my favorite spots. I just threw my MOH a birthday party there and it was awesome.

A few more:
Sweetwaters in Hauppauge
Blu Honu in Huntington
Sushi Samba (NYC)
Cafeteria (NYC)

when was this, i was there last friday

It was about 3 weeks ago

oh ok , i asked bc right next to was there was a huge group about 30 people and they were celebrating a birthday

Benihana - I love that place

Mine are some east end recommendations - just in time for summer!!

Cyril's - Montauk Highway in Napeague (right before the highway splits to go to Montauk). This place is the east end hangout. Enjoy drinks, po'boy sandwiches, burgers, etc. before you head into Montauk....or after a long day at the beach. You will NEVER find a good parking spot! Cheapish ($10 burgers).

Duryea's - Montauk. Cheap, opens at 5 (?), and is BYOB. Best sunsets you'll ever witness. You almost feel like you're in a foreign country. Seafood (but I always get steak).

Topside (at Gosman's Dock) - Montauk. Not cheap. Sit up top, have some dinner and watch the fishing ships come in during the late afternoon. Good for seafood.

Nick and Toni's - Eat Hampton. Good place to 'see' and 'be seen' - if you're into that. Mediterranean food. Make a reservation!! Expensive.

Blue Parrot - East Hampton. GREAT mexican in a really laid back setting. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Try a margarita, the are fantastic!

The Driver's Seat - Southampton. Good causal food. Their soups are always awesome. last time I was there though, the serivce was pretty bad. Cheap.

The Elbow Room - Jamesport. This is my parents ALLLLLLLLLL time favorite place. Even though they've moved to Florida they STILL talk about it. If you love steak, there is really no other place that compares. Their maranade is top notch and is a total secret. Critics have been trying to figure it out for years! Its a SMALL little place (they also own The Elbow Room II, and Cliff's Rendezvous), and they don't take reservations. Best bet is to do an early dinner. This is an expensive place, so go for a special occasion, but believe me! You will NOT leave hungry. (Oh man, I want a steak RIGHT NOW)

Borelli's in Farmingdale is great for inexpensive yet delicious Italian food

Il Bastardo in the city ( I can't remember where)- FH and I just stumbled upon this when we were walking around and it is seriously good! And the room is all old exposed brick, its really cool.

Blue Moon in RVC has good eats as well and its right by the movie theater. It can get a little cramped in there on the weekends though.

And my 'old faithful' of steakhouses....Peter Lugers in Great Neck on Northern Blvd. MMMMMMM but a little pricey!

Its an American type place, burgers, salads, sandwiches, kind of like a diner but a little nicer. My sister went to school right around there and we always went there when my family would visit her, its really cute!

Plataforma-in the city on 48th street between 8&9th ave. Its brazilian churascarria style...for those that don't know what that is, basically they have a big buffet which such great food, definitely gotta try the rice and cheese. And they also come around with lots of different meats to your table, you have these coaster like cards one side red one side green, they'll keep giving you meat non-stop while its on green, and if you dont want anymore put it on red. The meat is so good too, its steak, pork, sausages and so on. The place itself is real nice too and they have a live band. They'll also come around with wine for you, and dessert and again you have as much as you want...its all an inclusive price, it used to be $35 per person which was great for everything you got, now it went up to $65 per person.

Ole-in the city on 2nd ave between 24th and 25th street, its a spanish restaurant. The food is very good, great atmosphere...they have opera singers, and other live music, alot of people will even get up and dance, definitely a good place to go for good and to stay and have drinks for a while and have a good time
