I always am thinking about booking the swan club, i loved it there!! My FH and I are going to a bridal showcase there on 1/24/08 to taste the food... i hope its good... has anyone had the food yet?

they arent that bad you can always just do chair covers or just the bows, its just so homie there im sooo excited!

Damn... you all met each other! That stinks for me!!! We only stayed for about an hour... Fh wasnt feeling good...

I didnt wanna leave... I'm so in love with the place, its unreal.... ***** that we're only there for 1 day

I thought the food was VERY good! My mom said she was 'pleasantly surprised' b/c she couldnt understand how such a nice looking place could be so cheap.... she figured the food must be like crap but she LOVED it!!! My dad said it 'rivals the bigger more well known places aka... JT, WM, etc etc' So thrilled they loved it!!!

Oh god... like i didnt think it wax possible to fall in love over n over again .... corny but so true...

Only cons I found: 1st time i went in the bathroom and I am a tiny gurl and felt the stalls were WAY too small... none of my bigger fam member are gonna fit in there AND they apparently had the labels mixxed up on the coffee machine and i'm sure that really screwed alot of people up... but other than that.... the service as amazing! I love how theres 3 bartenders behind 1 bar...

Personally, I def wouldnt have a band there cuz they took up half the dance floor!!!!! I'm having DJ with percussionist

Glad you girls had a good time! Maybe we can have a SC GTG on a weekend so i can come and we can talk about how much we all love the SC....haha.

One question about last night....

did they have the camelot room set up with all the tables, and if so, do you know how many tables were up and how many people they had at each table?

I am getting nervous because I might meet the max capacity of that room and i want to know if we are going to be too cramed...

Im worried about that too. im having a band and they said it wouldnt be a problem, but im also worried cause i will be having almost the max amount of people for the room.

They had 20 tables set up (ibelieve), 10 at a table = 200 .... Personally, I wouldnt wanna go over 200 for that room... I believe it holds like 230 (or so they say.. but i feel that would really be crowded)

I really dont remember... It was just alot of equipment ... I didnt stay to see them play nor did I take notice b/c that wasnt a personal concern of mine ya know?

They set up right in front of the fireplace, but maybe its possible to move them over to the side a bit.... That would create more room... b/c then the bar could be set up more over to the side... Not sure if they would allow that though... I have no idea... All I know was that the dancefloor space was very much compromised IMO with all that equipment

I think they will set up the band a little differently for an actual event. I had spoken with a few bands when i was considering band vs DJ and they said they could rearrange. I think there were 19 tables(could've been 20) and the thing that I noticed from reviews and feedback I've received is that if you have over 200 they add tables in the corner, where the Dalsimer FLorist people were, which would not leave enough room for the band. And Gina, I hear ya...when I'm not there I think to myself, did I make the right decision for a few reasons, the bathroom being one of them..I ripped my pants (I'm not a small person) the first time I was in there, but then when I'm there, it's so beautiful and peaceful, and now that I tasted the food, I know I made the right choice.

Ya know, I'm really horrible recognizing people but now that I look at your pics, I def think I saw you too... Yes, FH wasnt feeling good... Dad wanted to eat, see the place and then go home (he goes to bed early lol) But I coulda stayed there just looking at the place... Hahahaha

ETA: And OMG... you ripped your pants thats crazy!!!!! Those stall doors should actually open up the other way because its like you have to climb over the seat to get back out MY mom was dying laughing... and she has same prob and shes like the size of me too!

Yes, I counted the tables... I remember when I first saw the place, they told me they had it set up for 200 and it was the same way when we saw it at the showcase...

If you do have to add tables into that 'outside' area, i'd have to wonder how they were gonna set up the viennese (if you're having it)...

i am pretty sure the band was a 9 piece...i am not into bands personally...but they were great..esp the female lead singer
