Re: **OFFICIAL SWAN CLUB THREAD**

Girls --- I have a potential SC bride asking about the change over from ceremony to CH if you are in the contessa room (I think the ceremony and CH are both in the carriage house). If i'm correct, do you know how they handle that transission? If i'm wrong about that, please let me know!

TIA!

I think they said that they change over takes like 5 minutes and they walk everyone around the garden and back into the carriage house when its done. they said they do it all the time and it turns out really nice.

ohh really? so the ceremony and CH are in two different places. if that's the case, FH will feel much better about the whole thing! i think he's worried that while we're saying our vows they're bringing in food

Just dropping by to say hi! I went to the Swan Club yesterday and even in the dead of winter the place still looks nice! I aactually went up to the bridal suite for the first time. It's definitely small, but I don't plan on spending much time up there. I'll be partying at the CH!!!
OH and i went to Glenmar Studios, they have a great package for swan club girls. did anyone else book with them?

Gina, I saw you, but you were eating so I didn't want to interrupt though, and then I didn't see you anymore. Makes sense since you left.

Ya know, I'm really horrible recognizing people but now that I look at your pics, I def think I saw you too... Yes, FH wasnt feeling good... Dad wanted to eat, see the place and then go home (he goes to bed early lol) But I coulda stayed there just looking at the place... Hahahaha

ETA: And OMG... you ripped your pants thats crazy!!!!! Those stall doors should actually open up the other way because its like you have to climb over the seat to get back out MY mom was dying laughing... and she has same prob and shes like the size of me too!

Wow! Gina, I just saw this now...I never even noticed you responded, so sorry! Yes, actually the day I booked the place, after I booked in fact, I had on a capri sweatsuit and the metal box had tape on it b/c it was bent and it ripped my pants and so I said to Michael, ummm can you deduct the $15 for my sweatpants now too please. I guess I'll be walking up those stairs to the bridal suit to go to the bathroom or I'll just hold it until the end. Glad someone thin feels the same way.

It is beautiful even in the winter isn't it?? I didn't book with Glenmar, but honestly, it wasn't their work that we didn't like, it was one of the sales people. I don't say which on here, but we just felt that sales person didn't represent them well and was very pushy.

We also went to Glenmar and while the package looked nice, the saleswoman completely turned us off. She kept saying that she that she couldn't believe that we wouldn't want to book immediately when we told her that we had other appointments and we wanted to visit a few different photographers. Needless to say, we didn't book with them!

Luckily we didn't run into a problem with our sales person either. I mean she did drop the 'you know we're good if we're the only photographer listed on the SC website'. But hey that's a sales person's job. She did want us to book on the spot but was understanding when I explained that this was our first stop and for my own piece of mind I needed something to compare it to. The package deal was nice so I'm thinking we will use them. I might check out one more place first though.

Re: **OFFICIAL SWAN CLUB THREAD**

Hi SC girls!! FH and I went to see the Swan Club today and LOVED IT! We were very happy with the Contessa Room, the price was right, and the grounds are beautiful (even at this time of year!). We probably would have booked on the spot, but we had FMIL there telling us to 'sleep on it and make sure'. Anyway, just wanted to drop by and say hello since we're considering booking tomorrow!!!!!

Re: **OFFICIAL SWAN CLUB THREAD**

THANK YOU! I'm having concerns or reservations about the fact that there will be more than 1 event at a time. In fact, on our date there are already 2 events booked. Do you think this is something that we or our guests will really notice and will it affect our wedding at all? The place seems sooo small to have so many events going on at one time. It seems people from all different parties will be running into each other LOL am i just paranoid?

From what I heard there can be 3 events but only two weddings at a time. As far as the grounds, I think they stagger the times so that only one bride will be outside at a time. I was concerned initially but then got over it. The room downstairs has its own set of bathrooms also. The Contessa and Camelot rooms do share the upstairs bathrooms though. I will admit the bathrooms, although pretty, are a bit tight.

Good luck deciding.
