hi girls!

i know most of you have already read my review (thank you), and maybe i sound like a broken record, but i feel like i should take every opportunity to RAVE about the SC!!! all of you will have the BEST DAY of your lives because the SC is just so awesome! anybody who is working with christhian has nothing to worry about--he is so cool!

i'm sorta sad it's all over! now i have to live vicariously through you all!!

I'm having my reception in the Garden Room on October 4, 2008. Now that there's less than 3 months until my wedding, I'm getting really nervous that I'm behind schedule! I was hoping that you SC brides could help me out here.

How soon should I schedule a taste testing and set down the menu?

Will my maitre'd contact me or do I have to be proactive and contact the SC to find out who my maitre'd will be?

I would say you can definitely call to meet and set up your tasting. When you do that I would just ask your maitre'd question. They are so great with helping and answering questions.

I guess my concern is that i want a great DJ but I also want all the dance floor space I can get! With 200 people i feel like i need the whole thing but i know the DJ needs to set up in the corner. What type of set up are you girls doing in the Camelot room?

I had the same concern. I am having a DJ and a percussionist. I'm trying to keep my guests to 180 in order for it not to be tight and not to have to put any tables in the corner so hopefully the DJ can be spread out in the corner and not take up too much of the dance floor.

I've seen pictures of weddings in the camelot room and it seems like there is enough room to dance. I sure hope so.

theres actually on 08 about a girl who's sister's wedding was at SC .... im waiting on her to post pics but she said everything was wonderful!

Hey girls!!! We have been pretty quiet on here lately, so i wanted to say hi and see how are upcoming brides are doing. Some of you are so close! how has the process been w/ the swan club?

have any of you or are any of you having Joseph as your BM? I just called and found out that he will be mine, so i'm just curious to hear how he has been for others. He sounded very nice and accommodating over the phone.

I hope everyone is still enjoying the planning...

Hey! I had Joseph as my Maitre'D 3 weeks ago. He is wonderful! He's the banquet manager AND Maitre'D there (well, one of the Maitre'D's). He was great when we met to set up the menu, and then I learned he'd be our MD, also, and I was really happy! He made sure everything ran perfect, down to giving me cold cloths after I danced b/c I was sweating so much LOL! The only minor complaint my SIL had with him was that her kids were starving during the CH while we were all taking pics, and he wouldn't bring out any food for them to pick on. Apparently, she gave him an attitude and he did bring out some pigs in a blanket, so that was good I guess. Other than that minor thing, he's wonderful!!! Oh, but if you can request a Bridal Attendant - request NOT to have Katina!!! She was mine and she annoyed me more than anything or anyone else that day!

Woooo Hooo I am at 40 days now. I just chose my menu and cake with Joseph on Wednesday night. He was great. Very flexible, very accommodating.

I just had my shower today and I can't wait for my wedding day.

I honestly am not sure. SparkyandAng asked Joseph not to have Katina, also (based on what I told her)... he was telling her something about all the BA's he brought over to Swan with him from Fox Hollow, but Katina wasn't one of them... not sure what that means exactly LOL! Good luck though!

i had vanessa as my bridal attendant and loved her! she was there when i needed her and i never felt like she was around 'too much'--plus, she's totally cool and somebody i'd hang out with so it just felt like having another one of my girlfriends around! :) good luck!!

I cannot believe my wedding is friday we are basically all set to go, everyone is paid in full besides SC and we will drop off our final payment and everything for the day of on Wednesday

It is sooooo surreal ... I should have time to post an abbreviated review on Saturday since we dont leave for Costa Rica until sunday am
