I cannot believe my wedding is friday we are basically all set to go, everyone is paid in full besides SC and we will drop off our final payment and everything for the day of on Wednesday

It is sooooo surreal ... I should have time to post an abbreviated review on Saturday since we dont leave for Costa Rica until sunday am

She was really great when i first met her.But does anyone know if they give you anything to use for your centerpieces like candelabras or anything else? Also how was there cake, what flavors did they offer and prices. Thanks for any feedback!!

you will not be disappointed with SC!!! the food and the cake were incredible at our wedding! i'm not sure about the centerpieces....i think usually your florist will do candles and stuff for you if that's what you decide on!

our cake was very simple....it was marble cake with white frosting. they had other choices but i wanted it to be simple since we were having a couple of other desserts. the cake is included in your pp price! i think there is a pic of our cake in my review if you want to take a peek

Thanks for the info, i was just a bit confused with the whole cake thing. If you want fondant instead of buttercream that would probably be extra right? Your cake was beautiful and all of your pictures were just gorgeous!!! I love those colors

SC doesn't actually do fondant cakes at all. You can only do whipped cream or butter cream. Our cake was marble w/ raspberry filling and white whipped cream on top. My bridal attendant took some flowers from my BMs bouquets to decorate the cake with, and it looked great! Sadly, I didn't get to eat more than the bite that DH fed me, but the guests raved about it Here is a pic of our cake:

LOL thanks! They offer either yellow cake, chocolate cake, or marble, that's it! As far as fillings go, they offer a bunch of fruit ones, like I said we chose the raspberry. And then I think they offer some creamy ones, like chocolate mouse and cannoli. And then you get to choose what shape and style you want the cake to be. We chose the square 'crooked' cake we called it LOL. It was the most unique looking. Anyway, if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!!!

Yes they have red velvet!!!!!!! I was just at SC today and i was told, i felt like i went to heaven lol...I also booked and im sooooo freaking happy...i love SC their gardens are amazing not over the top simply gorgeous and classic. I'm going to be in the Garden room.

Trust me when I tell you, I dont think it taste ANYTHING like chocolate cake.... I dont even eat chocolate cake but this cake is soooo good. If you are ever downtown brooklyn check out cake man raven red velvet... usually a long line but the best in the whole world

totally agree! I NEVER eat chocolate cake, don't like it, don't like chocolate ice cream. LOOOVVEEEE Red velvet cake...I think it's the icing and filling and does it. My FH had never tried it either and I made it try it last week and he was pretty happy with it (although he loves chocolate cake)
And i'm pretty sure the SC has strawberry filling b/c that's what we were going with until Joe mentioned Red Velvet.

Just curious does anyone know if Swan Club provides bathroom baskets or do you provide your own? Also if you want to set up a Candy bar do they do it for you or do you have to do it yourself?

I do not recall seeing a bathroom basket when I was at a wedding there in August. I'm not doing them b/c there is more than one event going on at a time.
If you have the garden room though you have your own bathrooms and then it would super cool to do them.

Hmm and no idea about the candy buffet, sorry.
