thank you laides- i will be using their cake- i heard they got a new baker but im not worried about it... also my wedding is in the camelot room and i am not getting chair covers- i think the room especially in the summer looks great without them- i was reading through some of your posts and decided to throw in my two cents take care ladies!!

Please FM me if you have any other concerns or peoblems and i will get back to you

i think that they do provide some sort of a rebate though i bet it isnt too much ... cakes can cost anywhere from a few hundred - thousands

i was at a showcase there in march and there was a baker there - the cake was AMAZING, so amazing that my mom said she would pay whatever the price was to have that caKe at the wedding (mind you thats about the only thing shes paying for so it must have been good)

i will get the name and FM it to you when im home



Mine was with the new baker unless they changed again. The cake itself didn't tast bad just hated the way it looked


Overall a GREAT wedding and 3 years later people still tell me how nice beautiful and how great the food was.


Maybe the cake you guys tasted was Audreys?

Well I think I'm going to stick with their baker to save some money for something else and have my florist decorate the cake to make it look pretty..

But Audreys cake was just too good!!!

I can't wait to hear some reviews from the recent brides...

Do you know if we were to get the cake from a out side vendor will they take some money off from their prices?

Also how much does a wedding cake cost anyways?

They told me that if you dont use there cake they dont take anything off because the cake doesn't cost them that much to make since they have a in house baker....

The only thing I dont like that I have seen in quite a few pics... They have the cocktail hr set up while the ceremony is going on.... They just cover it over with some white cloth... I dunno how to feel about that

That depends on which room you choose.. In the Camelot room and the Contessa room the cocktail hour is at a different location

Cutiecarmen!

I have never posted on this board before (even though I obsessively read it!), but I just got soooo excited because my fiance and I are getting married at the Swan Club on the SAME DAY as you are!!! I just jumped out of my chair when I saw your post! We are in the After Deck room starting earlier in the day (3:30 ceremony) and we are hopefully going to be a small party--we want to keep it as intimate as possible. We are going for a tasting on the 27th and we're super excited!

It's very nice to 'meet' you! :)

SWANNIES!!!! You have absolutely NOTHING to worry about- they were PHENOMENAL!!! The Matre D' Christian and Bridal Attendant were soo great!!! The cake was delicious and looked GREAT!!! Check out my pics I posted on the 07 boards! I truly had an amazing time and everyone at the swan club made sure both my husband and I were satisfied!!!

O M G Really... .Yeah i was wondering who the other brides that day at the Swan Club.

Are you in the Garden room?

Anyways we'll have to meet up that day!!!! I think i'll be there around 3:30 or 4pm to take pictures there..

Hi! I am getting married at the Swan Club on 8-31-07 in the Camelot room! I already went for the 'tasting' and did my menu. The tasting is not the usual tasting, it's just lunch.... but the food was really good. I also attended a bridal show there and the food there was great as well! I am reading mix reviews about the Swan club but I am going to just try and cross my T's and dot my I's beforehand and hopefully everything will go smoothly...

Anyway!!
