Hello! I wanted to know if anyone has the number of selections we can choose from off the silver menu (lowest priced)..... I can't find my original menu and they sent me a replacement without the number of choices...

I'm wondering where would they put that room??

Also I'm going there for a tasting next wed?? Any recommendation of what I should expect and have? Or if anyone of you girls want to come along?

The room is outside on the way to where the ceremony is kept, it is there old office they are renovating

Hey everyone i am an old bride WELL 2004.My only words of advice... Get your cake somewhere else OR make sure you REALLY tell them what you want. Get everything in writing.

We wanted a certain type of liquor (we BOUGHT some other stuff cause they didn't supply it) they told us they would have it! They day of one of my quests asked for it and they didn't have it. They then took out my CONTRACT and showed my guest! COMPLETE with the price we PAID.

I wanted a square stacked cake what I got was a pyramid. WITH NO DECORATIONS! Thank GOD my Florist (Laurie from LA BLOSSOM who I LOVE my favorite Vendor) had flowers and added them to the cake cause otherwise there would be NOTHING but an ugly PLAIN pyramid looking white cake

Do you know if we were to get the cake from a out side vendor will they take some money off from their prices?

Also how much does a wedding cake cost anyways?

i think that they do provide some sort of a rebate though i bet it isnt too much ... cakes can cost anywhere from a few hundred - thousands

i was at a showcase there in march and there was a baker there - the cake was AMAZING, so amazing that my mom said she would pay whatever the price was to have that caKe at the wedding (mind you thats about the only thing shes paying for so it must have been good)

I had the cake at that last showcase too.. it was so good!!! I believe the bakery name started with an A (Andrew's.. or something like that).

But have anyone tasted or seen the Swan club cakes lately? I heard they had change their baker since 2004.

I'm going there next wed the 18th around 1pm?

I have to meet John from Flower Michele at 12noon to drop off the deposit and finalize our contract. So i think it'll only take about 30-1hr?

We can just all meet there...

Aww I wish they can do it at 6pm, but they don't..

Their tasting is only from Tues-Friday from 12-2pm. I think that is the worst idea ever! Because we're paying to have it at their place and they cannot accommodate us at a different time (or the times/dates we wanted).
