oh no! but oh yes!

ok i just found out that i am 9 weeks pregnant! I was planning a may wedding, now i am thinking that is not going to be possible unless i want to be rolled down the aisel! so what should we do?!?! should we just call off the big wedding idea and have something with just immediate family or could i push up the big wedding to say.. february? i feel like i am going to be disappointed if i don't get to have the wedding i wanted.

First of all....congrats!!!!! I think you should try to push up the date to February...but you canstill have the wedding you want...it will just be a littel more hectic with the planning! It happened to my SIL and she planned a wedding in 3 months...you can do it!
Congrats again!

You can push up your big day and still have the wedding you want. Start calling around to halls, some of them might have either cancellations or dates/rooms they didn't book and might actually give you a good deal.

good luck!

Congrats

I think you should push up the day of your wedding. You can still have everything you want! Tell your FH that you really really really want a fantastic wedding.

Congratulations!!!
See if you can push it up. If not, why not get married now either at the city hall or in the church/temple, and plan a big wedding a few months after the baby is born.

Re: oh no! but oh yes!

The same situation happened to my aunt, so they pushed the date up to New Years Eve... it was the most awesome wedding!!!

When we look at the pics and video now, you can barely tell she was pregnant because of the way the dress was cut and how the pics were taken, and when we watch the video with her daughter, my cousin gets SO excited because she was at mommy and daddys wedding and will point to herself in mommys belly!! It is really cute.

I dont think my aunt and uncle have any regrets!

Good luck and congrats!!!

Re: oh no! but oh yes!

congratulations on your !

I recommend pushing up the wedding, to February or March.. March you'll only be like 3 month pregnant and it really won't be noticeable.
If you cancel the wedding, you may regret it. This way, you get two wonderful things happening same year.! What a year to celebrate!

Push it up! You can get a great deal on a hall and most vendors are not that booked in february. Congrats on the baby!

First - congratulations!!
I found myself in the same boat as you about a month ago. My wedding was scheduled for next September and we have been so lucky that all of our vendors were able to re-book us for January. Since I had already ordered my dress, I wanted to still be able to fit into it! See if your hall will work with you if you can still afford it.

I have to agree with everyone & say push up the wedding date! You still want the wedding of your dreams...You might get a great deal especially if things are not booked already...By February or March, you will not be showing too much!

Re: oh no! but oh yes!

If you feel comfortable doing the wedding while that far along, I say go for it. If you change it, will the vendors refund the money if they are booked? I would push it up if it isn't too much of an expense in terms of lost $. Congrats!

Re: oh no! but oh yes!

My coworker was in the same situation.

She planned an August 28th wedding and found out she was pregnant and they changed their plans and had their wedding on February 28th.

Her original Catering Hall didn't have that Feb. date open so she just switched halls.
