That you heard about yourself?

I was in a club in 2000.
I saw an old 'bar' friend from when I was in High School.
She said Theresa Don't worry I won't tell Matt you are here with someone else.
I heard you are getting married.
I SAID WHAT!
I live with ROnnie .
Matt and I broke up MTS ago.
She said RUMOR has it you 2 are getting married......

Sorry - and I don't mean to step on any toes - but the Richard Gere/Gerbil thing IS an Urban Legend - as well as the (quite homophobic, might I add) rumore that there is such a thing as 'gerbilling'. There's never been any credible accounts of Gere's 'alleged' surgery to extract said gerbil.

And I don't buy the Jamie Lee Curtis 'fact' either.

Tammy..LOL!!!! He inserted a gerbil into his you-know-what is how the story goes & it got stuck. I didn't think anybody else heard that one, this thread is too funny!!!!!!!

when old high school people found out i got engaged...they thought i was pregnant! not that theres anything wrong with that, but did i have to become pregnant to get married??!!! i guess thats the way they are all used to or something...

My mother was a nurse before I was born and she would every once in a blue moon get someone who would do something stupid like that - I can't even begin to imagine that.

T I know what you mean the stories I hear- between my uncle (uriologist-surgeon) and my aunt, mom (who were nurses) and my cousin who is a nurse now.

Speaking of embarrasing times - my aunt pierced my ears in 6th grade and the earing fell out the first night so they were playing around with it - and since they were nurses NOTHING phases them - well I DON'T do well around blood and I heard that it partly closed up and I passed out - well I'm lying on my aunt's kitchen floor (in Texas) and they are trying to wake me up - my uncle walks thru and kitchen and takes one look LAUGHS and keeps walking - they said to him - are you going to help us wake her up - he says NO just leave her she will be fine - laughs and leaves They have NEVER let me live that down

FH used to work at Jones Beach and the EMS guys would say the strangest stories of their experiences in the ambulance...
