Should I disenfect the desk? I know there isn't much I can do but I am SKEEVED out!!!

wanda, I would not keep the cereal, take it home. The guy who had a mouse in his desk drawer had a sealed kit kat bar, and mice ate through it. they can smell the stuff

mice can eat through anything. and they can fit through anything. mice can fit through a hole the size of a dime and a rat can fit through a hole the size of a quarter. Their is actually a huge difference between mice and rats.
bugs themselves cant get into anything sealed. My dad always suggests putting things in ziploc bags to his clients because buggies cant get in those.

Gross!! But at least they don't fly...we have palmetto (sp?) bugs down here in Florida which are like big roaches with wings! UGH, I hate these things. We had one once in our old apartment and I saw it flying around out of the corner of my eye and I thought it was a BIRD! I sprayed a whole can of raid on the thing and it just kept on going...DH kept laughing at me on the phone while I was freaking out and trying to get the thing.
Oh, they just skeeve me out...now I don't want to put my feet under my desk.

I think perhaps if you have a tupperware container you might be safe (just make sure it locks well)

I was at the Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins by my job the other day, and as I was leaving I see all this black stuff on the sidewalk. I'm thinking someone spilled sprinkles (from the BR) but I look closer and it's all ANTS!!!! I was so skeeved there was like 10,000 of them!!!
