I didnt get to watch it last night- but its on right now.The show itself I am not loving but it is so exciting to see someone on TV that I have chatted with for the past 2 years. I agree with the other girls- you 2 are definately the most normal couple on there . But it seems like you guys arent shown as often as the other couples.

IMO:
Every network is trying to emulate Jersey Shore with NJ and LI people (like the Johnny Metballs). People want to see Jersey Shore people..not the imitations/similar ones.
You guys were fighting over normal things. The others...so scripted IMO.
I think they would have a bigger audience if it was more realistic. (like your stuff).

I'm sorry but I didn't like it. Johnny Meatballs is a joke and that blonde chick has got to go. I wish we could vote people off.
You and your DH are BY FAR the only couple I can stand to watch, You have normal wedding bickering... the sarcasm is funny. The rest of the couples I want to strangle. Most of them just sound unintelligent and like other girls have said they are just giving Italian-Americans a bad name. I am sorry but not all Italian people act/speak that way. I think VH1 did a horrible job editing the show...

I watched it to see you and I also love Jersey shore..and I believe those were the same producers.
The show didn't hold my attention at all and I really wanted to get into it.
I also agree that you two were the normal couple...that meatball guy was too funny!

Yeeaaaaa...... Ummmmm.... That was pretty bad! It's just so hard to watch people act like such morons on national TV. I completely agree with everyone about you guys being the only normal ones. I was like 'Hello, more Joey and Sandra please! Less EVERYONE else!' I just need to know are people really like this???

I thought it was a train wreck and the good kind where you just can't seem to look away.
I don't think the editing can make people look that bad......they had to have the footage to edit so the cast clearly said the stupid things

You were seriously the only normal people, just like everyone else is saying. You were the only likable people, and everything you two argued about is what everyone else argues about when planning a wedding! The other people were just ridiculous!!

Ok, Sandra...I am going to be honest...
I love reality TV but I did not like this show. DH was pulling his hair out---he HATES reality TV. I will still watch it for you & Joe but I can't stand the other couples. I hope that we see more of you 2 and less of Johnny Meatballs...I feel like he was the main star of the show and he's god-awful. They totally should've come to film the g2g you planned at Novita LOL! Well hopefully next episode will be better....and by better I mean more of you & Joe & less of the other crazies!

I love reality shows especially wedding ones, so I thought it was great and ITA you two are the best couple on the show

i wanted to like the show but i think it fell a little short. i felt like the actual filming of it wasnt so smooth and polished. it looked a little amateur for vh1.
with that being said, i do like you guys and the spanish girl. the blonde chick looks nuts and im sure she will bring a lot of drama. obvioulsy its a reality show and its supposed to be dramatic and crazy. its also only the first episode so you can only expect so much. i will continue watching because its cool that i kinda know you from here and now you're on tv (which by the way you both look great on tv!).

Honest?? From your several posts, it seems that you come from an 'italian' family and not just from a 'LI italian' family.
What did your parents think about the first episode?
As a first generation italian I find it a disgrace the way italians are being portrayed on this show and would be mortified to be associated with this group of cafone's. My parents were both born in Italy and I feel being a part of this show would disrepect them and my culture.
So, truth. Are your parents/family proud?

No need to apologize. If there was a snarky tone to my post, I am sorry. I am looking forward to seeing more of this couple and I hope they bring the true culture of us italians to TV. Fingers crossed I hinestly would love to know what her parents think of it. I know what mine would say
