OK - spinoff alert - who met their FH at an unconventional place, like Starbucks?

My FH and I knew some of the same people, but every Monday at the starbucks in huntington there was an open mic where I read spoken word poetry. That is where we met!

we met online after i made a profile to appease my annoying friends who were all trying it. I was the only one that anything worked out for. Thank goodness for my friends!

One of my BMs met her FH at Boardy Barn - which I think is SO funny.
My friend met her FH at the Boardy Barn, but led everyone to believe they met at the gym. The truth came out by her sister at her bridal shower.

we talked for the first time at a party when he witnessed his friend who was really drunk... hitting on me. And instead of helping me, he just laughed the whole time.
(we went to high school together... so no original story from me).

Yes, technically we met on the train.........
He was a mutual friend of my friends fiance at the time and we were all going to the San Gennero Festival.....we all got on the train at one stop and he met us on the same train by getting on by his stop..........and then walked the whole train until he found us....and thats how we starting talking.......LOL

FH & I met online too. I hated admitting that for a long time, but I've finally come to grips that it's what a lot of people do these days. In fact, my mom didn't even know until last year...5 years after FH & I met!
One of my BM met her BF while stopped at a red light 3 years ago. It was New Years Eve day and she was driving home from Lucille Roberts - probably looking all gross from working out - and she was on Sunrise Highway and this guy followed her home! He got out of his car and asked her if she wanted to go out for coffee. Great story - but somewhat stalkerish at the same time!
