OK - spinoff alert - who met their FH at an unconventional place, like Starbucks?

When I mean unconventional, i mean not set up, not in college, HS, etc - but in a chance meeting at a place unexpected...

My FH and I knew some of the same people, but every Monday at the starbucks in huntington there was an open mic where I read spoken word poetry. That is where we met!

He answered my ad which was titled ' Complete with a set of steak knives!', and ever since then he has been asking me where's his steak knives.

So on our wedding day after the BM and MOH speeches, I will make my own speech thanking everyone, and then telling everyone how we met, and then.....in front of everyone I will present FH with his set of steak knives!!

That is too funny!

Awww no wonder you love Starbucks

One of my BMs met her FH at Boardy Barn - which I think is SO funny.

My sister met her boyfriend at the Boardy Barn..they're been together almost 5 years!!!

We met at a party in the hamptons. We were playing Truth or Dare and I was dared to kiss him. That was some kiss.

My FI is a cop and initially he pulled me over for speeding on the highway. I ended up knowing someone he worked with, so I didn't get a ticket, then the following weekend I was at the bar and my FI and the cop I knew who got me off the ticket were at the bar together and my friend said to me, I'm with the guy that pulled you over go say thanks. And I went over started talking to him and the rest is history...
