OK - spinoff alert - who met their FH at an unconventional place, like Starbucks?

When I mean unconventional, i mean not set up, not in college, HS, etc - but in a chance meeting at a place unexpected...

My FH and I knew some of the same people, but every Monday at the starbucks in huntington there was an open mic where I read spoken word poetry. That is where we met!

One of my BMs met her FH at Boardy Barn - which I think is SO funny.

we met at a party a friend of mine from college threw with another friend of hers. We had both graduated from different schools about 4 years before then.

no - he's a photographer - and he would take his daughters to the open mic because kids hung out there, and it was just a great party every week!!!

He would photograph the performers he was friends with....

DH and I met on a political message board.

But I thank God every day for that meeting!

We met at a grocery store. I was 18 and working in the deli. His roommate hit on me and I never called him. My fiance came into the store weeks later and asked why I had never called. I told him because i was interested in him, instead of his roommate. The rest is HISTORY. Hehehe

Fh and I met at Island Rock CLimbing Gym in Plainview where he worked part time.

I LOVE that gym!!! Before we had financial problems, FH and his daughters and I went there all the time - I love climbing!!!!

It gets expensive though!!!

in high school (conventional)
