Ok this bites the big one!!

I just checked the Yankees schedule because I was thinking of getting FH a season ticket package for Xmas, and what do I find out??

There's a freaking Yankee game on our wedding day!!! Which means every 5 minutes he will want to know the score!!!

My only consolation is that it's an afternoon game so it should be over by the time the ceremony starts!!

It is a good thing it is ending before the ceremony! Just think, he can sit back & watch the game as you run around getting ready

Don't sweat it, like you said it is an afternoon game. At least you won't have people leaving your reception room to check the score.

My FH and I had to schedule our wedding around playoff season in case the Yankees make it.

Well, think of it this way...if it does rain on your day you can say it was a good thing that there was no game!!!

I'm so glad the game will be over before your ceremony. It will work out fine.

At least it's early in the season- I'm sure he can live with not staying on top of one game that early on! I am happy that my FH isn't into sports but one of my BM is!! I'm sure he'll be too excited to care that day! As for the guests.....well....

Oh my!! For some reason FH didn't stop to think about the Yankess when we picked our date. I might just wind up with a playoff game on our day.

I can beat you...The world series starts on my wedding day!!! FH is a diehard yanks fan, we even have a few yankees items at the wedding...I never thought id say this, but I really hope the yankees stink next season

oh no!! you'll probably have to let the bridal attendant or maitre d' know in advance that they will be required to check on the score every 5 min!!

Oh God Jenn, you do have it worse than me!!!!

I actually brought it up to FH and thankfully, he said 'it's the beginning of the season, I'm not really going to care about the game that day, in fact I probably won't even remember about the game with everything that will be going on'

I said yeah right, the minute he gets into that limo, he's going to have them put the TV on to the game, I know it!!

I didnt even think about the limo! When we met with our dj, fh and the dj watched the yankees game the entire time we were there...I am concerned..at least now our baseball favors will seem in place
