Okay ladies-help calm me down!!

Hi,

Ok, my ex-husband just called and is coming to my job at 4:30 when I get out because he needs to talk to me for two minutes. I'm so mad at myself for not just asking him on the phone what it is about. But I always get nervous talking to him. So now I'm sitting here coming up with horrible thoughts in my head & freaking myself out. I have already told everyone here that he's coming so they know to be on the alert. Just have no idea what it could be about and it's probably nothing but the mind can play alot of games with you.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Meeting with an ex who did not know you where actually divorced from each other, sounds a little scary. I don't like it. And why does it have to be in person. Is he planing on serving you with divorce contest papers? I would not meet with him in person. Anything he needs to say to you can be done over the phone. Period. However only you can make that decision. Good luck.

I never thought about being served with contest papers, but I'm not sure that can be done since he signed the originals. He would have to prove that he wasn't aware that they were the actual divorce papers and then explain why he waited so long to contest them.
