Okay so I have to cancel my hair appointment for the day of the wedding and.....

I feel really bad & I don't want to deal with this woman's attitude. She is losing me & 3 other girls. How do I start the conversation???? I

Anyone want to call for me! ??!!

I would tell her the truth and let her know that you've decided to take another route with your hair and found someone who can accomadate what you wanted.

Kerry's right. If you really feel uncomfortable then I would call when you know she won't be around and leave her a message.

If it's a salon, tell her you decided to have someone come to your house the day of.

If it's someone that was going to come to your house, tell her you decided to go to a salon.

Exactly, situation has changed and I found someone else who can accommodate my needs. Simple, and vague. If they press, you can tell them that you rather not say and that you appreciate putting the cancelation through.

I had to do this yesterday, and it was at my regular salon. The receptionist was like 'What?? You're cancelling your wedding day hair appt??' and I simply said that I had a trial with a friend of my mothers, and she's going to come to us the day of and do me, my mother and my sisters. He said 'Oh we would have had one of our girls do that for you'. And I told him that I already made the other arrangements and it's a lot easier that way. If he kept pushing, then the salon would have lost my business altogether.

If my trial in the salon was $125, I have no idea how much $$$ they would charge to come to ME the day of!

If she gives you a hard time, don't worry about it. You'll never have to deal with her again!
