OLYMPICS interferring with my WEDDING

I tried to block rooms around the woodbury/syosset area and they were all booked. So finally the last hotel im like is there some kind of event going on that i cant get rooms blocked anywhere. The ladys like yes the Olympics of something is the weekend of June 20th im like oh okay..

lol I hear ya on this one I'm the weekend after you and all the hotels out east ahve been booked since last year!

Yes they told me all these rooms were booked since last year as well.

US Open - the hotels we have blocks at have rooms going from $400 (marriott) to $600(hilton)/night that weekend!

ohhhh wait.. the us open for golf is that week now that I think of it! I think its in the bethpage/farmingdale area.... Not sure if this is what you mean, or if its just another thing going on sorry you are going through this!

Id look into car services/limo if you havent already... they tend to book up quick that week to...tried to get a limo to the air port last year and it was IMPOSSIBLE!
