I have just been informed that a SONIC has opened up where the Pizza Hut was across from the Walt Whitman mall.
Has anyone been near this area recently to verify this? OMG if this is true, I am so excited!!!!

I just looked on the website and the closest one is in NJ.. I am now considering a possible road trip just to get one of their desserts.... they look like they are worth every calorie and the gas $

never had it, but they are the only fast food place that doesn't use frozen burgers... there are actually people poundin out burger patties in the back and slicing potatoes!

No I know its not there but when I lived out there last year they were buliding one....I saw the sign and all. I went back months later and it never opened. It was right on Main St in Holbrook...used to be a Deli.

West Coast and as you drive down the East coast, we drove down to Florida and up recently and stopped several times along the way, I had to get FH hooked!

Aside from Sonic not being in NY the other fast food place that I LOVEEEEEEE is Chick-fil-A!!! The closest one is in NJ. I used to live in NC and ate at Chick-fil-A all the time. If you have never had it then I suggest that if you are ever in another state and see one STOP!! (unless it's on Sunday because they are closed)

I thought i was the only one that was annoyed about Sonic commercials and there isnt one anywhere in the state (that i know of). i wish they would bring them here. And if not, take the commercials off NY prime time tv
